Feathers were a recent (relatively) discovery because we mostly know about dinosaur bones, since non-bone body parts don't preserve well. What sort of other body parts might dinosaurs have had that wouldn't have left a fossil record? Stuff like fat reserves or skin flaps and stuff like that?
