reid likes metallica. my evidence? the one scene in the pilot when morgan says “im [the unsub] am an insomniac who listens to metallica to go to sleep at night. what song could possibly speak to me?” and reid INSTANTLY replied with “enter sandman” and yeah maybe its a popular song, Maybe reids heard it on the radio but its So Much More Fun to go with spencer reid just fully likes metallica :D

Started rewatching CM cause apparently I can't go more than five months without it (Since the end of the show in February)

Here are some of my favorite things from the first three episodes

Extreme Aggressor 1x01

Hotch actually smiling 😊

Hotch's long hair

Morgan HAS hair 😳

Babiesss! All of them. Especially Reid!

Amazing foreshadowing and connectivity throughout the first few episodes

Gideon instantly correcting Hotch "Doctor Reid"

"What, are you a genius or something?"

Reid: "I don't believe intelligence can be accurately quantified but I do have an IQ of 187, an eidetic memory, and can read 20,000 words per minute"

Man: *silence*

Reid: "Yes, I'm a genius" 😆😍

Compulsion 1x02

Reid never being able to beat Gideon at chess, despite being a literal genius

Gideon's quick and quiet SASS

Just. All the time.

I love Gideon so much

"Reid. Since you're more their age why don't you do the talking?" Hotch he IS their age 😂

Reid utterly failing to get to the point when talking to college students his own age

Gideon giving Elle and the team an impossible question about the stutter just to make them figure out how he beat the Footpath Killer lmao

Once again, the foreshadowing. The Footpath Killer story seemed unimportant but returned in this episode *chef kiss*

Won't Get Fooled Again 1x03

Things said only in reference actually manifesting later... just perfect

The way Adrian Bale was something that happened before the beginning of episode one

Then he turns out to be important again and shows up. We are rewarded for paying attention to that storyline 👌🏻

Hotch saying he looked for a 1944 penny worth thousands for a major part of his childhood 🤭💙

"Yes I was a little bit of a nerd, is that so surprising" Ahhhh, Hotch!

Elle, immediately: "Not to me." Yes Elle! See past that tough guy exterior at the adorable, nerdy boy Hotch

Hotch and Haley are so cute in the first episode picking out names for their son.

Also Haley Hotchner is just such a great sounding name.
