I'm stepping away from tumblr because I'm extremely uncomfortable with that, but wanted to warn others who might be as uncomfortable with it as I am that it exists and is being presented as just another normal "flavor" of ship. CSEM does not belong in fandom. I've contacted tumblr support about it, they claimed it was fine.

I find it very interesting how comfortable some fandom folks are with depicting Romani, Jewish, queer, or others marginalized characters as engaging in incest and/or pedophilia.

This morning I was extremely disappointed to wake up and realize that there was in fact no canon in between show in which the inquisitors live and train in a reality tv style mcmansion with their host, Darth Vader, who sounds exactly like himself but campier, while depressed unshowered Obi Wan looks around wide-and-wet-eyed and bonds with teenage Reva while successfully avoiding Vader by hiding in cupboards and behind curtains whenever he enters the same room

Oh my god... I just read the whole thing and I did not send in that anon. The whole first part is straight copied from my piece titled 'You Know I won't Let You Go' I'm genuinely appalled, the entire first half is all of my writing with the exception of Toji being switched out with Megumi. That's so disappointing. This genuinely ruined my day and people like this are the reason I question continuing to write if my work's just going to be stolen. Thankyou for bringing this to my attention anon, I appreciate it because otherwise I would've literally never known :(

Hey Netflix 🖕🏾

Canceling Glow, Teenage Bounty Hunters, I Am Not Okay With This, The Society...is extremely disappointing.

Viewshipship and COVID-19 are poor excuses for canceling these shows especially when one is Emmy nominated and the others had considerably high viewership (TBH trended Top 10 US for 2 weeks) even tho Netflix didn't promote them AT ALL. The fans and the casts did all of the promo work.

Shows get postponed and delayed all the time for varying reasons so no cancelation isn't the only option

It's considerably extremely veiled that a high percentage of Netflix cancelations for 2020 are women led and queer leading characters who aren't subjugated as props or background noise so Netflix can check mark off diversity boxes

Yes, I'm completely aware shows with heterosexual/white/male leads were canceled too but shows with that make up have, continue to, and unfortunately will for the unforeseeable future continue to dominate entertainment media in disproportionate amounts

Truly, my heart goes out to all the teen and young adult fans who related to and saw themselves as these characters only to see them tossed aside

It's so dismissive of a large group of people who hardly see themselves in media and have to settle for scraps
