The Reapers are a fairly new team. Established in 2016, they’ve been slowly making their way up leaderboards and pro scene standings. They have yet to win Nationals, but their tenacity and commitment to growth and improvement have kept them in a lot of people's sights. 

No team is without their headlines though! Coach Harrison Marks signed on with the team only last year, and is determined to see them through their first victory. He promises fresh faces and highly skilled players through his vigorous, yet out of the ordinary recruiting practices. Red tape only allows him to go so far, although we believe things would be vastly different if that wasn’t the case. 

Don’t let that dissuade you! Both the Reapers and Coach Marks have high regard for each other, and are considered a fantastic teamwork based unit. They have been sighted many times enjoying activities as a whole team. They seem in good spirits, and are confident they will go far.

The Reno Corsairs are not news, although they tend to be in the actual news a lot. Their leaderboard standings go up and down throughout the years, and seeming luck, or just general player skill, dictates what their position will be. They have a few National Championships under their belt to show off, while equally being kicked out of needed end of season scores to make it as well. It’s a surprise to anyone (maybe including them?) what their game and season will be like each year. This never stops them from going all out on the court, though. Fierce, technical, and high-risk plays are what this team provides; they enjoy showing off with daring and tricky moves, while making sure the other team knows who they are fighting.

Although they tend to work well on court, no one has seen them hanging out after hours. Maybe this season will change that? Maybe some new recruits are what it takes to bring the team together off court.

Come for an evening of starlit splendor, including a fully catered menu, ballroom dancing (concluding with a lantern lighting ceremony on the west balcony,) and more!  Please RSVP by no later than September 5th, 2020.  Late replies will not be honored.

New Season, Who Dis?

Don’t adjust your screen; it’s true! Exy Days is back. Welcome back to our OG followers, and a very warm welcome to those of you who have recently joined our sever or Tumblr!   Thank you for bearing with us during our period of radio silence.  The Exy Days admin team indulged in a much needed hiatus from June 1st - August 6th.   We may have been quiet, but like punk rock, far from dead!  A portion of that rest period was used to brainstorm new content. We’re eager to share several new game play mechanics and sever features in the coming weeks! 

The admin team is pleased to announce that we will be launching our second sever-wide plot arc beginning August 24th!  

As a reminder, Season 3 officially begins Friday, August 7th!  While the window to join Exy Days without submitting an application through our Google form has closed, we are still actively recruiting! Please refer to this post for more information.  

As we announced previously, we have implemented a soft cap on all current positions. At the time of this post, we are currently not accepting strikers or backliners.  If you have your heart set on that position, we encourage you to continue to monitor our stats. Any position with less than 5 active players is up for grabs!  

As a final reminder, effective July 31st, 2020, we are now an 18+ sever.  Minors who joined the server prior to the implementation of this rule have been grandfathered in. However, in the event that you’re underage and a.)voluntarily leave the server for any reason, or b.) are removed during an annual activity check, you will not be permitted to rejoin until you’re of legal age in your country.

Fall 2020 Open Recruitment!

As fall approaches, the admin team is pleased to announce that we’ve once again made the decision to temporarily waive the application process. (We’ve noticed it seems to be a deterrent for many of you; we’re looking into potentially revamping the application itself, in order to encourage an easier/more seamless process for joining the server.)

For a limited time, we will be suspending our traditional pre-screening through the Google Form.  Beginning September 5th,  anyone 18+ can join our server directly through the invite link.   There are a few caveats, for the sake of our members, and the amount of work that goes into running an active sever.  For more information, please read the following: 

I. Members must be 18 or older.  As we announced in June of this year, we recently made the change from 16+ to 18.+ This is, in part, because most of our members are college age or older, and as a result, we tend to explore more mature themes. You are free to discuss your boundaries and preferences rp wise with the admin team, as well as your respective scene partners. We want to foster an inclusive, welcoming space, and rest assured, any concerns you may have will be listened to and addressed. 

II. We are not a revolving door.  What we mean by this is that we’re looking for active roleplayers/writers who are eager to contribute to the storyline and growth of the server.  If you join us, please be prepared to commit to at least 1-2 months of rp. If, after that point,  you decide we’re not what you’re looking for, no hard feelings!   We just want to make sure that any loose ends are wrapped up plot wise, so you don’t leave your scene partners in a lurch. 

III. Ask questions!  We’re a close knit community, and sometimes, joining new severs/new rp groups can be overwhelming.  However, we all share one thing in common: we love the series, and we’re always happy to make friends!  If you have questions about the server, feel free to contact either Kit, Rei, or Queenie. We’re happy to help get you settled!  And if we’re not around, our awesome members are more than happy to help.
