Have you noticed that Vinnie's eyes are icy blue or dark blue? I don't know if he wears contacts, but I SWEAR I've seen pictures of him with blue eyes. Ranging from light to sort of dark? I am unsure how to describe it since in most pictures his eyes are a dark color, or I can't make sense of what color they are, especially since I'm unable to make sense of what color the iris is, but I guess it's a dark blue. I can't find the original picture, but I know it exists somewhere out there. Opinions, thoughts? I personally think he has dark blue eyes. or maybe I am just crazy, lol. 🪽

So, you are right! Based on the light source, camera quality, etc, Vinnie’s eye color is hard to discern. In brightly lit situations they can appear much lighter in color, but in softer, dimmer situations, they can appear much darker. For the most part, photos we have on hand of Vinnie have him with such dark eyes, at first glance you may assume he has brown eyes.

A common trend you can already see with these photos is the lighting and quality that causes such darkness of his irises. Now, although blue is a good guess, Vinnie’s eye color is NOT blue! They are green. Sometimes when you look at photos, you may notice that slight lighter color of his eyes, and at first I assumed they were hazel.

Even rarer are photos that really show you the vibrant green color his eyes can be! I know of few photos where you can really see that beautiful color that often gets muted! I would also refer to his shade of green as the color of Moldavite, which is a pretty cool gemstone as well and I have set next to Vinnie. Actually, now that you know his eyes are green, when you look back at pictures of Vinnie, you might now be able to see hints of green in his irises!

A fun fact, green eyes are said to be one of the most attractive eye colors - Vinnie’s got good genes! Hard to tell sometimes and hard to find photos to back up, but I believe that also carried on with Liz and Jessica, who of course takes a lot of likeness from Vinnie! You can definitely see him in their eyes 👀

Jonah is the pupil? Thoughts

Okay so the iris is the muscle of the eye. It does the work of expanding and contracting and adjusting to light.

But the pupil? The pupil is quite literally a void. It takes in the information and sends it backwards into the retina and optic nerve and all that to be processed. It’s just a conduit. I think Jonah is quite literally a cog in the machine. He thinks he won but I think he’s stuck.

There’s a few arguments to be made as to who Jon represents if we talk about the eye as an organ the roles played here.

1. You could interpret Jon as the iris, doing the work to give the best info to the pupil itself.

2.You could see him as the optic nerve, making the information consumable.

3.You could see him as the rods and cones, processing raw light and color.

Either way. I bet Jon has a significantly more active role in the Eye than Jonah. He’s definitely the more beloved one.
