I understand wanting more fics that fit your preferences and expressing your wants for said fic, I’m someone who also wants to see more fics that fit mine. But whatever happened to not shitting on other people just cuz you dont like something? “don’t like, don’t read” does that ring a bell?? Hating on a group of people because you’re upset about not having more fanfics with your preferences is wild behaviour! It’s so gross!

God forbid people write fics for and about themselves. It’s fucking fanfiction, bro. Everybody deserves representation. No matter what.

This fandom is made up of not just fems and fem presenting people, but also genderqueer, mascpresenting, trans, genderneutral, nonbinary folks, etc. we are all allowed to coexist in the same space and have fanfics that represent each and everyone of us. No pairing is better than the other and therefore shouldnt be more than the other, period! Now is not the time to be making think pieces about “eyekons that think they’re men.” Like Jesus Christ, read the fucking room, with the state of the world right now???

The blatant transphobia I’ve been seeing toward trans men too…..and some of you genuinely think you’re not being transphobic? Lmfao. It’s laughable. Newsflash, you don’t have to be outright malicious to still spew transphobic rhetoric. And even then some of you are just being hateful and malicious.

Having preferences does not give you permission to be assholes to other marginalized groups. Get off your fucking high horses and think for one second about who this is actually helping.

Also, let’s all learn how to actually find the fics we’re looking for. Follow accounts that write fics with your preferences. Make requests! Most of the writers I’ve seen on here dont mind writing both masc and fem stories! This is Tumblr it’s not exactly built for writing and sharing works efficiently, but people make it work. That also means it’s harder to navigate, which is why you follow creators who post what you’re into.

Hell, there are other apps and sites for fanfiction too. Tumblr is not the end all be all for Katseye fics. Instead of having discourse that’s not helpful whatsoever to ANYONE in this fandom, how about we use our brains for one second?

Hello, everyone! Your seniors and former idols, Kana and Mem speaking here! As you all know, the initial plan was to run the event for four weeks with personalised questions, events and group based activities!

However, due to some unfortunate circumstances, issues in both our personal lives and the slightly negative feedback we have gotten from some people, we've made the disheartening decision to take the limelight off ourselves and let our stars shine on their own!

The event will be discontinued but any lore or album things you choose to release will still be reblogged before we step down fully! We apologise deeply for the inconveniences caused and we hope you've enjoyed your time with Oshistars! Know that there are other amazing events which have a wider roster of talented writers and creative, fun things to do, and we highly encourage you to participate in those if you can!

All the eyekonblr writers are leaving because of the fucking dumbass ANONYMOUS people telling them to KILL THEMSELVES and other horrible things. Think about that for a sec. This used to be an environment for people to chill in but assholes that have nothing better to do with their lives other than send hate to people on TUMBLR-(I'm sorry but sending hate on tumblr? be so frrrrrrrrr 💀💀).
