Day 6 Fitness apparel logo: The inspiration for this work came from creating a mark that could stand alone and yet still convey the brand identity of Zompe. After working though many concepts I felt that a mark with a Z would best represent the company. Other elements that I wanted to include where a sense of movement associated with fitness. The client also referenced other fitness apparel marks like the Nike Swoosh and Under Armor stylized UA. I wanted to include a element of what is successful about their marks but also create a unique design that would represent Zompe.  I went with a stylized Z that was created from the Z in the main text logo. I was also inspired but the hidden reveal, like the arrow in the FedEx logo, and wanted to incorporate that into your mark as well. The composition of this design leads your eye to the text logo below but also draws your eye back into the design giving that sense of movement. I wanted to convey that the company is not standing still, but rather moving in a clear direction.
