10 & 14

10. What energizes and drains them most?

     WHAT ENERGIZES sasuke here is usually human interaction. he knows it’s one thing he’s very good at & he likes knowing that he’s very good at it…. he’s got the type of aura that draws people in. he’s charming to the right people, attractive & has the smile that could melt someone’s heart if he flashed it right… & he’s fully aware of this. he’s built his persona in order to thrive in social situations, seeing as how it’s more than likely he was presented with more of them with the uchiha not being wiped out when he was young. so he developed this personality that thrived off of other people … then when he got older, he learned to thrive even more off of the attention he drew from females. 

but what drains him? arguably, it could be the same thing. this persona he’s built is the one that everyone around him knows. the flirty & charismatic sasuke that people know him as is just a single layer, but because he spent so long developing it throughout his life he feels like it is the only one worth seeing. what does this mean? it means that there are a hundred other things going through his mind, a hundred other issues & all he can focus on is ‘ how do i live up to this image i’ve built for myself ‘. he usually takes a bit of time to himself when he’s a bit overwhelmed, but that’s not always possible.

14. What do they care deeply about? What kind of loyalties, commitments, moral codes, life philosophies, passions, callings, or spirituality and faith do they have? How do these tend to be expressed?

there aren’t a whole lot of things sasuke is super serious about. he doesn’t have that same driving desire for vengeance you see so often in canon because he doesn’t really have anything to avenge? he grew up in a relatively normal way, save for the fact that he was fugaku’s son & was pretty gifted from a young age … but there are certain things that stand out to him & when they do, he is fierce about them.

first, we’re going to talk about loyalties … loyalty is possibly the most important thing to sasuke. when he was younger, his loyalty was always first to his clan & then the village. when he was put on team seven, not much changed … he didn’t take it very seriously until they were tested again. as time progressed his team became the most important thing to him when it came to loyalty ( or much else  ), though he could never say it aloud because that would be admitting something had become more important than his clan.

when it comes to morale codes, sasuke has come to terms with the fact that shinobi can not have moral codes. if they do, they’ll go crazy —- this doesn’t mean he has no sense of right or wrong. he tries to follow it the best he can, but to lay out actual ‘ i will do this ‘ & ‘ i will not do this ‘ is possibly the stupidest thing he could do as a shinobi. 

he’s not passionate about much else & he doesn’t really express anything he is about to others? it’s honestly probably not very healthy that he’s so reluctant to share anything past that pretty boy layer he likes to show off. it is an issue, but he doesn’t recognize it as such? he just kind of does what needs to be done & goes on with it.
