I used to scowl at physical copies as if they were bygones with no value... until poor selection of streaming services forced me to hoard ALL the physical copies I could get my hands on. ;;

see I had no problem with the fact that physical copies of movies sparked joy in other people, I just... really don’t want a house full of fucking DVDs and shit!!!! it doesn’t spark joy for me.

but they sure make it difficult for me to binge-watch LOTR or Carnivale whenever it pleases me, otherwise

As a solution I now keep all my non-boxset films in those little cases. Saves room and I can organise them by genre. I'd suggest that to save drowning in DVDs!

of course I’d organise them, but... like, it doesn’t really matter either way, I’ll still know they’re there and they’re leeching vitality from me by existing in my space lmao
