when you’re a simp for bois who are in constant distress. mood.

I’m now thinking about when Cole wakes up, and I’m pretty sure it was their 2nd or 3rd scare (1st being Kai) and definitely their furthest someone has gone in the stages. His hand is now permanently rock but he can move it, so he’s actually in stage 2 partly, and he can’t really feel anything in it. He can feel temperature changes, but texture isn’t easy, and he can’t punch anything with it because it might break off (he learned that the hard way. he’s chipped a fingertip or two.)

This whole thing shoots the team back into a panic and they have to take a few days break to regroup. Some serpentine attacks pull them away from their quest anyways, so now is as good time as ever to pause and head back to Ninjago. They get more supplies and fight some snakes Cole having to do so with one hand :/

Then it’s attempt number 2 in the cave. Cole sits out.

When do you realize you love someone?

when silence is comfort

  When you get closer slowly over time, unspoken with no words required to express it. When you call them, just to be talking in intervals and realize that it's not even really an ongoing conversation, just hearing their ambient sounds on the other line is enough. When you invite them over, just to sit down and watch a movie together. You know the heavy impact words can have, and how abrasive they can be. But you also understand that silence can be deafening, and that the phrase "things are better left unspoken" has negative connotations but sometimes, they are better left unsaid, even if it's an "I love you." Because you know they know it and are saying it back, too.
