The Vivienne Westwood pins finaly arrived yesterday. Here you can see my six favorite pined to my plaid jacket, spelling out "fuck" with safetypins under them.

DIY PUNK JACKET pt. 2

Okay so I first thought about what kind of jacket I wanted to thrift for this project. I knew from the beginning that it needed to be black and reach to around the hips . I also want it to be non shiny material. I'll post a picture when I pick one up. The thing is the thrift store is in the city so I will most likely not get to pick it up this week. But I also got good news.

I thought about how I want to decorate the jacket next. I wanted to reference Vivienne Westwood somewhere on the jacket. So I went on ebay and searched "Vivienne Westwood pins". I didn't expect to find anything great but I found the button set you can see at the beginning. I did a bit of research but it seems legit. I bought it and can't wait for them to arrive. (The picture is the one the seller used) When I get around to sketching my ideas I'll also post that.

Hey I plan on picking up a black jacket from my local thrift store and upcycle it soon. I really want a punk jacket but can't afford one so I want to make it myself. I will document this project here.

Okay so on friday this week I'll finallybe able to go to the city and get the jacket. The westwood pins haven't arrived yet but I think they will the next couple of days.
