Trick-or-Treat 2025

i am doing it again, folks. if you know about trick-or-treating with me you know the ropes already. if you don't, here's the thing.

i have done this off and on for, like, 11 years or something. i dunno. time is an illusion and i do not have the proper skill line unlocked to control it. anywho.

for the month of October come trick-or-treat in my inbox. send me an ask that says 'trick-or-treat' in some form or another. if you want me to write a short spooky thing - a trick or a treat that the fates will decide for us - for you (which i love doing) make sure to include a fandom or some characters. otherwise i'll just give you a something random in return. (might be a pic, might be a song rec, might be a few lines of a poem. who knows?)

the point is for the month of October y'all can come trick-or-treating in my asks. come get some engagement. provide some enrichment for a creative soul to gnaw on.

Toph is a waterbender

Katara is an earthbender

Zuko is an airbender

And Aang is a fire bender

Zuko being the avatar would be cool but that complicates so many things on his family shenanigan side of things, so let's just make it

Avatar: The last fire bender

Where Aang is a Shao-lin monk

The air bending nation is like "We are free-spirited and powerful, we must share this with the world" and starts a 100 year war

Toph is still blind and she's from the swamp

Toph invents blood bending

Katara and Sokka live in the Earth kingdom in one of the colonies and it's an island and the Air nation killed off all the earth benders there, except for Katara. They find Aang in cased in obsidian in a cave.

Aang ran away into a cave

Zuko is still after HONOR except he's an Airbender and casually just flies in.

Azula literally takes your breath away

you know i don't even remember what the heck this was about. i vaguely remember something about yams and a joke about yams and Yams and look this is like from two and a half years ago.

so let us just imagine i wrote something worthy of the love and hate and your everlasting friendship yeah? yah.

it’s that time again friends.  trick or treat time!!!!

those of you who know the drill: asks are open.  go.  be free.  send me shit

those who don’t (or want a refresher)?  here you go:

TRICK-OR-TREAT

come trick-or-treat in my inbox requesting ficcies and I’ll either treat you to some fluff or humor or trick you with a horribly twisted sad AU  (I’ll use a random generator to pick trick or treat)

send me “trick or treat” and a character(s) or ship in my inbox and I’ll write you a short little thing (I’ll be doing these all of October so send away!)

like i said, asks are open so feel free to start sending prompts.  i might start writing early but i won’t start posting until october 1st.  i’ll be doing this all october so feel free to keep sending me asks.  go ahead and send me characters/pairings/etc from any fandom you know i’m in or have seen me write for.  i can’t promise to write every prompt but i’ll do my best!  (so feel free to send me characters/pairings/fandoms even if i haven’t written them before, but you’ve seen me posting about them cause you never know!)  feel free to send me a bunch of requests if you want. i’m not picky.

i have been doing this for quite a few years now.  some of the years (2016, 2017, & 2018) are on AO3.   2019, 2020, and 2021 are only here on tumblr (tagged #trick or treat 2019 and #trick or treat 2020 and #trick or treat 2021 OR if you want to just check out everything (announcements included) use the tag #trick or treat) if you want to check them out.  before 2016 is kind of a mess but if you want to search for them on my blog go for it lol.
