The Truman group played a key role in Operation Rough Rider—executing strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen from March through early May. On May 6, a U.S.–Houthi ceasefire was announced, halting attacks on U.S. vessels in the Red Sea.

However, tensions remain high, as the Houthis have vowed to continue targeting Israel.
