One of the worst things about The Dance of the Dragons is that neither Aegon nor Rhaenyra wanted or started the war, but they both wound up being the most vilified people of the war for the rest of time.

Do the people of Westeros not see that the Greens turning everything GREEN and always wearing green is very much the Hightowers trying to straight up ursurp the monarchy from the Targaryens? Or do they just not care?

I think this is why Targaryen fans are split between Green stans and everyone else: It's very much just the Hightower crew and four half Targaryens, two of whom were forced into it.
