I think ppl are so backwards bc how is that us (rpfers) creating scenarios abt the drivers being gay for each other in our own little platforms made for exactly that, worse than ppl on Twitter calling charles "worse than horner" bc allegedly Alexandra is pregnant and they think that charles forced her to it, a, might i add, 25 year old woman that is in the age of accepted pregnancy that can make her own fucking decisions???
Like first, yall don't know if she's pregnant, might be the dress, might be a good meal, and if she is, congrats to her and stop bothering her. As someone that doesn't really have a favorite drivers, and gets pissed at minimum two of them each race:
Why is george so disliked? Why is he one of the most disliked drivers in the thia current grid?

Y'know, this issue with Mercedes and their seeming inability or unwillingness to fix George's car isn't just a matter of him being competitive or not; putting him in a car with unpredictable speeds in F1 is Mercedes actively putting him at risk of getting seriously injured. This innability to fix his car borders on negligence if they continue to ignore George's pleas for them to fix the battery since, if they continue to ignore it and blame him, then there is a very real chance he is going to get really hurt. All of these mind games by Toto and the rest of Mercedes seems like they are forgetting the #1 priority of an F1 team - to ensure the safety of your driver. Its like Max brought up earlier this season about the red bull - once is an accident, but if the same thing repeats then thats not okay.
con: we have to hear about the little italian being the messiah despite doing nothing special and having no competition once again
pro: we don't have to hear 44s hyping an 8th anymore because hope has been finally been lost

idk man i do think it’s indefensible to say that you want a driver to crash or get hurt or die (even if it’s said in the heat of the moment during a race) because motor racing is inherently dangerous and still does carry a genuine risk of serious injury or death even with ongoing safety improvements.
hubert and bianchi died relatively recently and i hope i never have to see something like that happen again.
