04/05/2019 - Day 1 (Part one)
Follow a night of intermittent sleep, whether it be the fault of the chiming bells or merely the excitement infused within we headed to the first meeting place (the next hotel) to check in and have our introduction and given the tour material (CB radios and picture books).
We visited the Musée Somme 1916 à Albert Located in the centre of Albert, this museum covers the soldiers' life in the trenches during the 1st July 1916. It gives such an insight of technology avaible at the time, the realisation of what it must of been like and the lengths some soldiers went to just to survive.
