I came across a nice F-4 picture, and wanted to capture just the aircraft on a blank background. Just the Phantom itself. I love to paint and have recently started experimenting with aircraft and a train (the UP 4014 Big Boy steam locomotive). I struggled with finding the lighter color for those spots. Well, maybe I'll graph color theory and understanding some day. But this is ready for my wall once dry.

McDonell Douglas F-4 Phantom II

The F-4 Phantom II is a tandem two-seat, twin-engine, long-range supersonic jet interceptor and fighter-bomber developed by McDonnell Aircraft (later McDonnell Douglas) in the late 1950s for the United States Navy. The aircraft was later adopted by the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Marine Corps, as well as numerous allied and NATO air forces.

The F-4 Phantom II remains an iconic aircraft due to its versatility, widespread use, and historical significance in both military aviation and technology.
