I came across a nice F-4 picture, and wanted to capture just the aircraft on a blank background. Just the Phantom itself. I love to paint and have recently started experimenting with aircraft and a train (the UP 4014 Big Boy steam locomotive). I struggled with finding the lighter color for those spots. Well, maybe I'll graph color theory and understanding some day. But this is ready for my wall once dry.

I like to paint as a hobby. I'm not 100% sure about the land background, but I think I'm calling this one complete. I have an F-4 on the to do list, so hopefully soon. One of my favorite aircraft designs. Not entirely fast...but I love the silhouette. Grace personified.

Nice photo showing F-16D "619" of 105 Squadron "The Scorpion" equipped with two CATM-9L/M-series captive air training missiles (Station 1 & 9), two GBU-31(V)1/B-series JDAMs (Station 4 & 6), a LITENING-series targeting pod (Station 5R) & a 300 gal tank (Station 5).
