I've been working my ass off (literally) for the past 16 weeks at F45. For the first 8 weeks I worked out HARD 6 days a week & ate my basic "healthy"diet. I went for a body scan at the beginning & again at the end of the 8 weeks to track my results. The following 8 weeks F45 were beginning a new "fat loss challenge" (I guess they do them several times a year!) which included a meal plan. So I though, let's do this! Let's see how much food really does come into play in changing, shaping, trimming & firming my body. I decided to do the body scan every 2 weeks for this, so I could keep a closer eye on progress or fails! First 8 weeks - Workout only. Starting Weight, 135 lbs. Fat Loss in lbs, 5lbs. Fat Loss %, 3%. Muscle Gain, 1 lb. Final Weight, 131 lbs. Second 8 weeks- Workout & Food. Eating 1300 calories a day. No sugar, alcohol, dairy, wheat or processed food. Starting Weight, 131 lbs. Fat Loss in lbs, 10 lbs. Fat Loss %, 7%. Muscle Gain, 1 lb. Final Weight, 122lbs. WHAT A DIFFERENCE THE FOOD MAKES!!! My workouts were the same (equally as hard!), it was the right food combination that gave me my fat loss lbs & % results! And I still gained muscle!! Yay! 💪🏼👈🏼😁 So, if you are working out super hard, pay attention to your macros. How much protein, fat & carbs make up your plate. And if what you are eating & drinking could be sabotaging all of your hard work in the gym. You CAN do it!
