Awesome start to this weekend. First, a friend's roller coaster of a Friday and Saturday culminating in the sudden death of her future mother-in-law. Second, my dad is loosing his job within the next two weeks. He had the gall to ask me if I still had pull over at the electronics shop I worked at. Maybe if I distract myself with tumblr, all of this will be a terrible dream that I'll wake up from, and we can re-do this from Thursday on.

I've got my History of the Soviet Union final tomorrow at 8:00 in the morning and my Early Modern East Asia final at noon. I can feel the butterflies in my stomach already but then I'll be done with finals.

I need to go to bed.

Today marks my* band's first official band practice of the school year.

Its so last minute, but we got on opportunity to play at a cover show on halloween (y'know, which is next week)

We've agreed on Lou Reed/Velvet Underground material because its cool but easy stuff to play so we should make it.

This means I have to lug my bass onto campus and into my classes until practice tonight at 8... everyone's going to think I'm a pretentious jerk lol
