After spending the better part of the past six months trying to help Derek unlearn his toxic masculinity, Emily knew she'd definitely done him some good, being around her queer friend group had helped him as well, but never in her wildest dreams would she have guessed she'd see Derek confidently walk into a room full of his friends looking like the Black version of the infamous 'cock-ring' Ken doll of the early 90s.

Just finished reading Fooled Around (and Fell in Love) - Part 2 from this gorgeous reading nook at the library.

I don't think I'll ever get over how incredible it is to HOLD these books in my hands. The tactile element really makes me go 'Holy shit, I wrote a book series!'

Went to the cat café today to see the CM kittens again! (They're so big now!) I spent most of the hour reading Fooled Around, which was very meta.

Just finished Part 1 and I genuinely screamed in adoration when I closed the book. (The physical book!!!!) I still find it hard to believe I wrote this incredible series, even harder to believe how many of you love it too.

Every day that I get to write fic for this fandom is such a dream 😍💜

THEY'RE HERE!!!!! Holding physical copies of the Fooled Around Series is absolutely wild. I am so happy with (and proud of myself for) how they turned out. Absolutely gorgeous additions to my bookshelf.

To all the readers of this series, Thank you!! You made all of this possible. If not for your lovely comments and support, I don't think I'd have written Part 3. As a reminder of this, the back covers include comments that really stuck with me and spurred me on. Thank you all so much.

THEY'RE DONE!!! Spent all of yesterday designing the covers and tweaking things to get them just how I wanted. I'm so happy with them, can't wait to hold these in my hand and have the Fooled Around series on my bookshelf 🥹🥰

Finally got back to working on typesetting and formatting FAAFIL to get them all printed. After getting my proof of Part 1, there were a few things to tweak.

Yesterday I finished up Part 2 and got that uploaded to check all the measurements. So that's ready to go to print too.

Then, there's Part 3. The über fic of the series. The print service I'm using has a max page count of 800 pages, and Part 3 is roughly looking like it'll be 900+.

That means I had to divide it into two books, Act I and Act II.

I managed to start, format, and finish all 410 pages of Act I today!!! 😍 Hopefully I'll be able to start Act II tomorrow.

All that's left after that is designing a fourth book cover. Can't wait to get them all finished
