Short Comic “The Gift” by Nick Robles!
Faatin looks everywhere to find the perfect gift for the hardworking knight Bregga.
Finally, Bregga’s long and lonely journey concludes with meeting her beloved companion Faatin, which is really the best ending she could hope for.
To many more wonderful years.
Happy Pride Month!

The first page of Bregga’s backstory comic “Path Less Traveled”
Bregga had always felt different from others. Choosing an unusual job was one of many choices she has made. Art by Sarasadeart (Sara Valta)
OH SNAP! Nami is going to find her love, and she’s bringing dogs!!!
If Nami and Faatin reunite, it will happen after the six-issue main adventure is finished. Probably in mini-comic form. I hope that she, Faatin, and Bregga form a cute poly family with tons of puppies. Will that happen? Who knows! No spoilers from me.
;-;
Cries. I promise that this comic will have a not-sad end!!! Next week!
Now you know why Faatin likes to wear flowers. They remind her of her first love.
Awwww. From happy kisses to sorrowful goodbyes. This page is a roller coaster of feels.
Faatin was exiled from her clan because she did a Bad Thing. However, it’s unrelated to her relationship with Nami (she’ll tell Bregga about the Bad Thing eventually … just … not during this backstory). Faatin and Nami were planning to wed before the Bad Thing happened ;-; It’s quite sad.
Fun fact: Faatin’s culture is partially inspired by my and T’s cultures (both matrilocal & Indigenous to the beautiful deserts of North America). In fact, Al used images of the Navajo rez as inspiration for the art in this mini-comic
Faatin rarely talks about her past. Luckily, it’s CHARACTER BACKSTORY YEAR! In this four-page mini-comic, we learn more about her life (and love) before Bregga.
