Vander realizes that Silco’s more . . . erm . . . aggressive/underhanded tactics (the same one’s that created the rift between them) might actually be the only way to protect the family he created. Angst and resurfacing of old feelings ensue. Let’s get these two crazy kids back together ❤️

That first suggestion is soooooo yummy, I'm strongly considering it... For the future. I'm so busy and struggling to ever find the time to write, let alone the mood. But it's such a fab scenario, it shouldn't stay in my inbox!!

To be fair, the fic was for the zine, with a 3k words cap (I wrote less than 1k in the end), and you idea is so stellar in like... 3-4 chapters... Gotta start with the desperation needed for Vander to even *go* there, then the angst of their awkward reunion... Would Silco come clean about sending Marcus his way? Maybe even some flirting... Then Vander's roil of confused emotions...

Maybe he finally gets it. Silco's ideals. Clearly he still doesn't in the show. Maybe never had. But maybe the kids give him a new perspective that finally makes him click with Silco's motivations.
