Since I’m pretty much completely occupied with writing by Bachelor thesis I decided to go through my game back log and play some short games that have been sitting there since forever  (^ｰ^)

So, I started with this cute liitle gem called “Heartbaked” by GourmetVisual - now known as Fablesoft Studios - and it’s incredibly funny and cute!  (≧▽≦)

It’s short and you can finish it in one day, which was exactly what I needed right now. I didn’t take that many screenshots - only a few cause I basically found everything funny, so I would’ve had to screenshot the whole game. I mean the pastry puns just kept coming.  (^◇^*)

Anyways, it’s really cute and you should definitely play it!

Hey guys! Unfortunately I got sick :( Which means that the past week has been a lot less productive than the week before. But that’s okay! As soon as I’m feeling better more progress will be made. I’m currently working on the final route, there’s quite a bit of work to be done but it’s about halfway there! After I’m done writing the route, we’ll be working on editing and getting some sort of a demo put together as well as a promotional video and such. There’s still quite a bit to do, but we’re getting there and we’re working hard! See you next week guys! - Averxy

Writing Update - A little late!

So sorry guys, I totally missed my update yesterday! But that’s okay because now I have a little more to report on! I got a little busy with cleaning and a few other life things, but one of the endings for Twisted is completely written! That leaves nine ends left, which shouldn’t take long! We are making longer ends, and I love it, it just means that it’ll take a little longer to finish them. The writing is definitely in the home stretch now, though!

Twisted Tumblr Update

Hey everybody!

Minyan and I, Averxy, have decided to start doing updates twice a week! So on Wednesdays you’ll get writing updates which will include word count, where the writing is at, other features in the game, and a few miscellaneous things! As well as, of course, small excerpts and teasers of the story.

Then, on Sundays you’ll get art updates from Minyan. She’ll show you teasers of what she’s working on, let you know where the art is at, and let you know just generally what’s been finished in the past week!

This way all of our updates are put together more cohesively and we aren’t spamming with every update possible. Of course, if you’d like more frequent updates than this, you can check out our Twitter accounts (click our names, it’ll take you there!) or our Lemmasoft page for the game which you can find here.

Writing Excerpt

Looking over the bushes, I see a monster crouching in the clearing. I can’t tell what it’s doing, until it raises its head to let out a loud cry.

It’s… eating.

I feel bile rise up my throat.

It’s eating… a person. My eyes travel down to the body, and I start shaking at the gruesome sight.

... The person is still alive.

Off Hiatus!

Hey everybody! Averxy here! I just wanted to let everyone know that we’ve been working slowly on Twisted, and we’re hoping to pick it up more steadily! Currently we have about 19,000 words written, 1,800 of which was done today, and the character sprites have been redesigned and polished. It’ll still be awhile before release, the endings haven’t been written, one route needs to be vastly expanded on, and editing needs to be done. Art-wise we have to do backgrounds, a bit more GUI, and all of the CGs and extras. It’s still a lot of work but we are determined to get this game released!! Minyan and I are working hard on this, we’ll get it finished and out when we can! Thank you for being patient with us!
