grab bag for the beach i recently made for a friend! a makeshift sewing pattern but it turned out study and the perfect size for books :) didnt even plan out the fabric patterns but looks like a face on one side XD

A scrappy birb quilt made with 100% recycled and reclaimed materials for a bird lover I love! The fabric, batting, buttons, and even the thread were all sourced from my own clothing, thrift bins, or FabScrap BK.

this is such cool resource for crafty types that are looking for good quality fabric cheap/free. If you are in the NYC area (perhaps even as a tourist) you can volunteer for 3 hours and get loads of fabric for free! Its also really great that all of these fabrics aren't going to the dump, especially the leather and the plastics! So, check it out! I have my eye on something...
Just received my first order from @fab_scrap . They are a wonderful company that work with textile manufacturer in New York to recycle their remnants. They basically run a thrift store for fabric. I purchased 3 of their 5 yard fabric packages: dark, cool and natural neutral. recent two piece that i ran out of fabric for a cropped blazer 😭 i used fabric from fabscrap so i can't get any more of the exact same fabric. but i'm thinking of adjusting a blazer i already have to match the style

i love finding funky patterned fabrics at fabscrap!!! it boosts my creativity and inspires me to think outside of the box, especially since most of the fabric cuts are odd shapes and sizes. let me know what you think and definitely check out fabscrap if you're in nyc or philly!!!

bags bags bags bags bags!! all fabric is from fabscrap. green bag had a lot of trial and error for me which is the pain of sewing but i think it turned out cute. i may add a button to close it more in the top but it fits soo much
