And besides, with the literal Champion of two regions taking the boy under his wing, he’s got enough stability.
But do you really think that if Lance were to get involved with someone that he wouldn’t consider Silver in that at all???? Like, the boy’s an asshole. Lance can teach him all about his heart and whatnot, but someone who could see Silver’s prickliness and not coddle him or even humor Lance’s “He’s a good kid,” but instead bite back with a “He’s an ass. He may a good kid but he’s an ass. Besides, his Sneasel needs brushing, Alakazam has a headache, and Feraligatr’s eating too many poffins” may not be such a bad thing
And it’s almost like there’s someone with a history with Lance that has used half of the types on Silver’s team and used them remarkably well. Well enough that she could teach him in ways that Lance never could….
