oikawa is, of course, the grand king. however, he has a nasty habit of getting into wars he can never win, against a rival nation ( shiratorizawa ), and unfortunately, endless battles are costly. physically, oikawa was injured whilst mounted on a horse — a dagger was stabbed into his knee and considering that medical assistance at that time wasn’t exactly helpful, and that he was on the battlefield, the leg was amputated and he was given an ornate wooden replacement. economically, he found himself greatly in debt, though he’d raised the taxes on his subjects nearly tenfold to pay for all his wars. thus, it was necessary to take on a bride from a wealthy family. he’s presently engaged to shimizu, who will hardly talk to him because of his bad personality and overall annoying-ness, because her family gained quite some wealth after ( basically ) monopolizing the silk and spice trades.

he had a turtle and some goldfish when he was younger. since then, he’s never had another pet, and even before that point he’d never had a pet before. for him, large animals just seem too difficult to take care of, so it’s likely that even in the future daichi won’t ever look for an unmanageable pet. turtles are easy, though. and maybe some fish. :)

he found a grey hair last week and now he’s freaking out about greying at 20 years old. ... if he’s going to accept his future as a new adult with grey hair, when can he start worrying about wrinkles ? should he consider investing in hair dye or wrinkle creams ? if he goes to buy them, how will the cashiers react ? oh god ... he’ll be so embarrassed.

Oh shit u right

i didn’t want to have to bring out the big guns but:

he has such a beautiful, warm skin tone it’s like sunlight is trapped in his veins and it shines through and his skin is just so handsome <3

his jawline is as straight as a ruler honestly get u a man with an angular jaw or don’t get u a man at all

his hair is a soft brown --- not too dark, but a rich yet soft brown, and it probably shines like honey in the right lighting UGH so good 

speaking of hair, he has morning curls <3 he wakes up with messy little circlets of hair dancing above his head like a tiny little sleeping crown

his posture is so gentlemanly. hes so handsome pls.
