i turned off my Facebook a couple of years ago

i still get notifications on my email, which doesn’t bother me

today, i received a notification for a close high school friend’s birthday

unfortunately, he passed away about 2 months ago

i don’t need that reminder and i know his family doesn’t either..

Every so often Facebook will snipe me by posting ‘recommended friends’ like

People I went to school with from kindergarten-graduation

their profile pics are of their now-elementary-school aged children who are copy fucking pastes of their parents, my peers

there is a big hecking reason why people I went to school with since kindergarten are already NOT my friends and I guaranfuckingtee that I have not forgotten anyone from my class of goddamned 107
