I had to add several new navigation icons (I had a bit of catching up to do) and I wasn't sure if they were still easily accessible as they had been. Noël said he couldn't see all of them. Therefore, as a trial run, I've moved them to the empty space above the next page arrow. What do you all think? Any suggestions?

A cool announcement: we have an additional admin! Their name is Noël! They can be found at ariadosss. We've known each other for a while, and we're equally passionate about Face Off, so I thought it'd be cool to run this blog with a friend. That means there's two Archive attendants. I'm thinking I'll show them where I get everything and how I tag once I've finished posting the third, maybe fourth season (and once they've got a lighter courseload). Considering how important the Chinese New Year and associated celebrations and traditions are to the culture (to my limited knowledge), I'm going to posit yes. I will see what thisisnotchina has to say about it, though, and act accordingly.
Note: yeah, I know one of my sidebar images was the winning dragon. I actually don't have access to the image pile thing I made the rotating image thing with, nor photoshop, since my laptop went kaput, but I'll work on a solution!

Yeah - Nicole. The second-shot minichallenge was calavera themed, unfortunately. If I recall correctly, one of them was even ~mariachi~ themed. Smh.
I'm not currently sure what I'll do about foundation challenges, since Syfy doesn't have galleries of those like I use for the spotlight ones. I may do a rewatch and screencap, if I can work it out well. But yeah, that one definitely falls into the cultural appropriation category.
Cultural Appropriation and Racism
From this point forward, I will make note of cultural appropriation and racism in makeups made on Face Off. I will do this to the best of my knowledge (and my knowledge may change, of course - life is a process of learning and unlearning). I will attempt to find and provide sources. I will not be perfect, and I will do my best to point it out, but do note that as I am white, I am not the person to defer to.
Anyone and everyone who is knowledgeable on the subjects - that is, people who are part of the cultures being appropriated from and such - are absolutely free to send a word my way. That would be very much appreciated. You can do it via the archive proper or my main blog (currently apolloguises) via ask or submit (I believe both of them are turned on, as is Anon, but please let me know if they're not!).
A few ultra-examples of what I'm referring to are Gage's self-makeup from Season 1 and Miranda's dark elf from Season 5.

Hello, dear followers! My life laptop died a few weeks before Christmas, so I lost everything, including the stuff I'd been working on for the Archive. I wanted to let you know that I do intend to come back and continue archiving everything, potentially including some earlier looks I didn't get around to getting up.
Seeing posts randomly explode in notes and getting messages always brighten my day and makes doing this even more worthwhile!

Okay. I promised myself I would keep my opinions and feelings off my blog, but I need to break it. Just this once.
The finale was EXQUISITE and just such a treat to watch. Three of the makeups in particular made my entire life.
