Name:  kana kirijo

Gender:  female

General Appearance:  light brown hair inherited from yukari and red - brown eyes inherited from mitsuru.  has fair skin and a splattering of freckles on her nose and cheeks;  she needs to wear glasses because she’s nearsighted.  she wears expensive clothes,  but prefers for them to be a little oversized and cozy.

Personality:  cheerful and just the tiniest bit spoiled;  outgoing and has a pretty easy time making friends.  a little strict,  though;  she takes her role as the heiress to the kirijo group  VERY  seriously and won’t take nonsense.

Special Talents:  has a natural charisma about her that draws others in.  logically minded and intelligent;  has great grades.  also a pretty good actress;  was in some plays in elementary school at yukari’s insistence.

Who they like better:  mitsuru.  she thinks she’s so cool and smart.

Who they take after more:  yukari,  a little bit.

Personal Head canon:  is the student council president at her high school as a third year,  just like mitsuru.

it’s meant as a joke-- not the first time he’s heard it. the demon enjoys pointing out the irony of how harmless he comes off at first glance, as opposed to how cynical or ruthless goro himself is. he doesn’t laugh.

“hmm. i think your first mistake is assuming that anyone knows what’s right or wrong in the first place.“ ren is just brimming with loaded, naive questions-- all aimed at the direction of the angel, to whom the upturn in his voice almost resembles a threat. goro just wishes he had something more to offer him. “if you’re expecting such answers from me, i’m awfully sorry to disappoint.“

tense shoulders then begin to soften. he feels as if he’s leading the lost soul through a pitch-black tunnel. topics of morality are subjective when push comes to shove, a zone with no real right or wrong answers ( ha ), and yet... akechi finds himself stumbling, afraid of guiding the other even further from the truth. how he gained the trust of someone like ren is beyond him, he never asked for it and still isn’t sure if it’s something he wants-- yet here he is, doing everything he can to keep it. it’s a little embarrassing, really.

“but... i can’t blame you for feeling lost. you’ve been believing in something so blindly for all your life, it’s about time you started questioning it.” a look away from ren, eyes narrowing up at the sky. there’s so much more to the world than what we’ve seen so far-- they’d likely smite him if they ever heard him say that. “i’d... like for you to keep doing that, actually. question everything, and tell me what you find.“

a sigh, wings curling at his sides in an unintentionally dramatic gesture. “you do know i’m just as lost as you are... right ?“

Everything that had happen within the past day was now a blur to them.

From what they recall, they were first working on a case in their office. Nothing too out of the ordinary, obviously. Secondly, they were given... another case, though with the possibility of spy work. It was okay--unwanted, but the work seemed easy enough to avoid said possibility.

Quietly walking towards the Kirijo mansion, they gently used the brass knocker and awaited an answer. Of course, they hadn’t expected to immediately be pulled in and have a chloroform rag used on them. They attempted to hold their breath, but due to the unexpected turn of things, it wasn’t possible. They fell slack in the man’s arms, soon being taken to an unknown place.

Now? They stood in front of the famed Mitsuru Kirijo, with two men standing on either side of themselves. Seems like the men expected things to go awry. Frowning, Naoto looked Mitsuru in the eyes, too confused to even think about the woman’s beauty.

“... You’re not the person from before.” They murmured, their voice low and breathy. “Tell me... is this what always happens, when you have guests? What even are your intentions?”

A clear sky had graced them with gentle sunlight this morning, yet the clouds had soon been drenched in grey and shed their tears upon the earth. Akechi had come prepared luckily enough, yet this didn’t seem to be the case for all students. School hours were finished for today and when he reached the main entrance, he spotted familiar tufts of burgundy hair. Kirijou Mitsuru wasn’t in his class, but they knew each other due to their positions. After all, Akechi was known as the charismatic ace detective and Kirijou for being their highly-praised student rep.

“ Ah, Kirijou-san… may I? ” Once he had opened his pitch black umbrella, he offered her the space next to him with a pleasant smile. “ I’d hate for you to catch a cold in this weather, if you understand. ” They were headed to the same station and he was interested in conversing with her. He may as well use a chance.
