not sure how to feel about facial acupuncture tbh
okay so I randomly came across facial acupuncture while looking into skincare stuff, and now I keep seeing it everywhere.
I get the appeal—natural, no chemicals, supposedly helps your skin long-term. but at the same time… it feels a little too good to be true?
like I can’t figure out if it’s actually effective or just one of those things that sounds nice in theory.
so I tried to break it down in my head:
does it actually make a visible difference? seems like it can, but not quickly. most people say it’s subtle and builds up over time, which makes sense but also makes it harder to judge.
is it uncomfortable? this was my first thought lol. but apparently the needles are super fine and people say it’s not really painful, just a bit weird at first.
how much commitment does it take? definitely more than I expected. it’s not a one-and-done thing, more like multiple sessions before you notice anything.
why do people choose this over faster treatments? probably because it’s more natural and doesn’t involve injections or chemicals. just depends if you’re okay waiting longer for results.
does it actually feel worth it after? this is what I’m most curious about. some people seem to love it, others don’t notice much.
I’m still on the fence tbh. if anyone here has actually tried it, I’d rather hear real experiences than polished reviews 👀
