Back in 2004, game developer Factor 5 was going to make Animal Wars, a Valkyria Chronicles-esqe game set in World War I...if World War I happened in the Zootopia universe.

Sony agreed to publish it, along with some Panzer Dragoon knock-off called Lair.

Then Sony decided they wanted Lair to feature the motion controls of the PS3 Sixaxis controller, a stupid thing that only existed because the motion-controlled Nintendo Wii came out in 2006 and immediately owned most of the Earth's money. So Factor 5 was forced to abandon Animal Wars, in order to force motion controls into a game that wasn't even that great before it had them, by the look of it.

Lair came out in 2007 and is hot trash. Animal Wars was canceled.
