Nine years ago, I made my main oc, T, based off the insane concept of "What if Tarrare was reincarnated as a goth girl?". Nine years ago, I also really wanted to make her as a doll. Nine years later, here we are.

Introducing Tarythe: my first doll ever. She took almost two weeks, and I love her dearly.

Now back to our regularly scheduled traditional art. For now.

@look-back-month-challenge Day 4: "Craft"

Day 4's prompt is "craft" and to me that means the doll I've crafted the most for, my Blythe Nyx! Nyx was made for a faerie Blythe challenge on YouTube, and remains the one I've done the most with. She was my first eye swap, and my sister helped with her makeup, tattooing, and dress. I've never been much of a crafter despite cosplaying for several years, but her wings are patterned on ones I made myself for the renaissance faire almost a decade ago now. I was really pleased with how she turned out, and she's still one of my favorite Blythes.

Mum and I had a fantastic time @londonfashiondollfair today it was delightful to meet up with so many fellow doll collectors. The doll that I’m holding in this video is Cherry ( formally known as Toots) was bought from @sarmander1 . Isn’t she delightful? I've been working on this outfit for Maple for a while, and it's done! The whole thing was based around the mushroom hat- I truly believe Blythe dolls are meant for big ridiculous adorable hats.

The hat is crochet, the dress and apron are knit, and though you can't see it there's a rudimentary "petticoat" I sewed out of lace to fill out the skirt of the dress. The only thing I didn't make are the shoes, which are Creatable World boots.
