Different Hunt, different day.

Truth was currently on the trail of what had to be one of the biggest deer he had ever seen. It’s feet sunk into the dirt at least three inches with the front and back hooves being at least five feet apart. This was a massive deer.

He was following his trail, his bow at the ready with an arrow notched. He was getting close to it when he first saw what had to be the most beautiful deer he had ever seen. It’s fur and antlers were the color of fresh snow with eyes as bright and startling as pure sapphires. He knelt down and was beginning to ready to fire.

“What…what is this place?” (From Rey!)

Soris hadn't expected the stranger to stir yet. When they did he moved as close to them as the chain around his ankle and the blessed bars on his cage would allow. "Shhh, be quiet," he hissed, eyes darting around anxiously. "You don't want them to know you're awake. I think - I think it's a circus."

Lost in Thought

Julianne had been shifting semi-nervously for the past few minutes. This was the first time she’d been in the market without Asra’s company since... well, since she could remember. He’d left her a small shopping list to follow, starting with the easiest to find but slowly moving to the more complex.

She’d been searching the stalls for one particularly difficult item, muttering to herself about something or other (charred newt flesh? Where was she supposed to find that?) when she bumped into a person with bright red hair, knocking them forwards and herself backwards, ingredients tumbling this way and that.

“Ah, I’m sorry!” she shouted from the ground, “I didn’t see you there. Sorry, distracted. I’m a bit new in town.”

Muriel takes in their words and lets out a small sigh. He looks over at Inanna who rests her head on his leg, trying to give him a bit of comfort. He understands that him being a loner wolf might not be a good thing when it came to the other packs. Plus he’s fairly intimidating as a wolf as well due to his size, so that didn’t make matters any different.

“I have Inanna though. She’s not a werewolf, but she’s still a wolf. Doesn’t that count for something?” He’s not saying no to their offer. More than likely he’ll say yes, but extremely reluctantly. He rather keep his home safe from those who’d wanna harm it and if that means he has to go against his comfort zone and enlist help then fine.

Asra sighed softly as he moved to run a hand through their hair, eyes looking over Lyntel worriedly. He tilted his head as he pondered what he could possibly do to help, wondering if he had the ingredients for a sleeping charm. Or perhaps he could design a sleep sigil for the headboard or...

He'd figure it out.

"Do you want me to come lay down with you, to see if that helps?"

“You’re usually right when it comes to most things but-” He had already grabbed a cloth and pressed it to her skin.

“Dear, you’re bleeding from your forearm. It’s not a simple paper cut. It desires attention.”

The raven has fallen silent, eyes closed as he basks in the attention and affection that the apprentice is giving him. A series of very appreciative little honks and squawks are emitted from the corvid’s lustrous ebony beak, and he proceeded to nuzzle Lyntel’s hand affectionately in response to the soothing Gaelic words uttered and scratches.

Lyntel slides in, moving to cup Julian's face against their chest in a gentle hug. "Heard you were having a rough time, sugar. Want to talk about it?"

[ Ah, Lyntel and her host are still here for me and yet again save the day. ] 

He didn’t seem to be paying much attention, but without giving her much of a reaction or response, he laid his head into them, giving a gentle sigh after a long moment, gently placing his arms around her waist. That’s just what he needed, a hug. “Losing people is exhausting, darling. Especially when you tried to be good..when you didn’t think you did anything wrong.”
