I think being diagnosed with disorders is so interesting for me. Because I don't have this. I am fae. It is simply me being another species. Others have this, not me. I am just fae. But it gives me an excuse. "Oh, dw, that's just me being (insert disorder here)!" instead of trying to come up with an excuse that isn't you out right saying what you are.

Being physically a werewolf while being physically fae is so weird. Like, I am a shapeshifter. I can be anything at any time, I see a picture of a horse and there's a 50% chance I'll turn into a horse. But I just melt into that form. I'll picture myself with whatever I feel from under the veil, maybe even a full horse (or whatever I shapeshifted into) but it's different from when I turn into a wolf. It hurts all day, then at night I turn into a wolf. But it's slower. No melting and instantly reforming, but a slow and painful process. Bones stretching and fur growing. But it's still somewhat hidden under the veil. I see the flickers of it, the veil failing for a few seconds. And my mind is so much more altered. And when I change back, it's slow and painful again.

This doesn't happen for anything else, even though it is still so real and physical. Why does the veil work differently when I'm a wolf, but nothing else? Am I a werewolf AND a faerie? Or are they connected, am I a faerie who chose the form of a wolf to truly be?

I want answers, but I don't think I'll have them until I can be a faerie again, a creature or the forest, of rot. I'd love to hear if anyone has similar experiences, but that's not too important to me right now.

We've been seeing more fae on here recently. It's nice. We're all so different and we're still all fae and that's wonderful, I think. Hi! I shrieked and jumped when I saw another fae shapeshifter followed my main.

Does anyone have more songs that sound like Mysterious Ways (Skyra) and A Quick One Before The Eternal Worm Devours Appalachia? They sound like what I feel like, an eternal creature of decay. They're both such beautiful pieces

sorry if you've answered this before, but did you ever have a "discovery" moment about being a changeling? did you go through confusion/denial? or did you always know?

I always knew to a degree, but I didn't have the words for it until recently! I always knew I was fae, but closer to now I've found terms that fit me, like holothere and I've discovered how it effects me and what it does, like my plurality and shape shifting. There was a bit of confusion and difficulty when putting everything from this childhood and current feelings into words that I could understand, but I never really denied it.
