Some ways to celebrate Beltane

For those like me in the Northern Hemisphere, Beltane is coming up! Beltane (or Bealtaine, Beltaine, May Day) is celebrated from April 30th to May 1st so i thought i’d list a few things i plan to do this weekend to celebrate!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

•❀• tie colorful ribbons around flowerpots and bottles 

•❀• hang ribbons from tree branches or string lights

•❀• light a camp fire to dance around and leap over (plus s’mores)

•❀• make flower crowns for my dogs and i

•❀• take my dogs to the park to enjoy the spring energy

•❀• leave offerings (oats, honey, crystals, ginger, etc) for the little folk

•❀• bake fruit cakes and make honey lemonade

•❀• go on a picnic

•❀• look under rocks for bugs cuz those are neat

•❀• connect with deities associated with beltane: Artemis, Apollo, Bast, Dionysus, Eros, Frey, Hera,  Pan, etc
