Knowing that Eva is going as a early American settler, Paul decided to go as a famous American explorer, Davy Crockett. No animals were harmed in the making of this outfit (even though he probably should have gone with real buckskin).

Anum felt it would be funny to go as a knight, someone much braver and larger than himself. The sword is real (don't ask where he got it) and so is the gold in the seams.
Cool Evening Air || Séraphine and OPEN (End of Setptemberish?)
It wasn’t like Séraphine to go by the coffee shop after ten in the morning, but she had been craving an americana all day. With everything that was happening unbeknownst to most of the humans in DC, she figured that she deserved it, so when she left work that evening, after the sun had gone down, she took a turn walk towards Busboys and Poets. It would be nice to see, in person, how everyone else was reacting from the disaster that had been the carnival. She shook her head without realizing.
Over the years, Séraphine had become ambivalent about most humans. They were born, they lived short lives, and then they died, most without causing any significant change to the world individually. But hunters were different: they sought to destroy what she spent a very large majority of her time trying to protect. They were the sort of humans that she would get rid of if she had the ability. Perhaps someday.
After she had waited in line and purchased her coffee, she made her way outside. When she had the opportunity, Sérapine would always rather be outside. Fresh air was like nothing else, to her. The clinical, recycled air that flowed through her office building was nearly unbearable sometimes. As she stood there, she realized that there was someone standing behind her, for more than a few seconds, so she turned and spoke.
“May I help you?” she asked, politely, if a little sharply.
Business Never Pleasure ♕ Freya & OPEN (Thurs. Night Sept 25th)
There were several reasons to go to U Street and while she hated to admit it, the main one was her desire to finally fuck Victoria. The past few months had been stressful to say the least, and even though she went to the club hoping for some time with the Vampire, there was always business to be done. Maha and Leigha both worked there as well and they were certainly on her ever-growing list of people to watch. The Queen made her way through the crowd, heads turning as she went; the place was always full of Fae and that meant people were bound to notice her. Some days she wished she could just blend in with the crowd, others she embraced her status proudly. Tonight it was the former, and she directed her path towards the bar hoping for something to distract her, even if only slightly. “Is this seat taken?” She asked seeing an open stool at the bar.
Really, Monday? ✦ Petre & OPEN (Mon Sept 22 daytime)
He owed David one. There was no saying no. Even if he hadn’t, he still probably would have agreed to take the shift, but then David would’ve owed him one. Either way, there his ass was at work in the daytime on a fucking Monday. Half the time, he didn’t have to work Mondays at all, and it’s not like he hadn’t been there way past normal Sunday business hours for most people the night before. Practically dead on his feet, he filled the orders mindlessly like a drone until he decided to take a quick break and clean up everyone’s mess around the café. He approached someone with a to go cup and he couldn’t tell if it was empty or full, so he asked, “You done with that?” There was a trace of a smile there hidden under the exhaustion, which he attempted to increase as he waited for an answer.
The Morning After ➸ Freya & OPEN
Freya was glad to be home. She had been gone since the night of murder, mostly trying to clean up after Oz, but she missed home. She felt now, more than ever, that her responsibility was here and not trouncing around the world for the Humans. Just because Kate Dorning had stopped it this time, the thought of an army of hunters running through her city actually scared her, and Freya wasn’t one to scare easily. Maybe they were already on someone’s radar and if that were true, she needed to know. So, she headed to Busboys and Poets for a cup of coffee and the chance to check up on the Fae. Busboys had always been a popular Fae hang out, and she was curious to see how people would be reacting after the trial. After she got her coffee, she made her way towards a spot where she could have a full view of the café, but bummed into someone on her way. “Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t get coffee on you did I?”
