Which of the Blue Lion's timeskip designs do you prefer, Houses or Hopes?

okay massive disclaimer. i think i have several unpopular opinions in this area. the main theme is that i love hopes and i genuinely adore the character designs in it more than the average fan i think. let’s get into it.

okay so admittedly dimitri’s portrait in hopes doesn’t do this design justice. on the model (esp in front view) his hair looks AMAZING, plus this armor is just so lovely and so him. i’m all for hopesmitri, war phase dimitri is an absolutely wonderful design though, i would die for both of these designs. dimitri always looks a little fuckass and stupid but i choose to view that as a feature not a bug. he’s just a little awkward and doesn’t think about his appearance, if he were a dashing storybook prince in appearance it wouldn’t be representative of who he is

this one is difficult bc they’re really similar designs, but hopes wins here too. i like the braid in his hair a lot more and i think the facial hair is a very welcome addition, he looks so rugged and handsome there. also the lack of scars makes me happy because it means he didn’t go through as much hell as he did in houses. words cannot express how much i hate what they do to this man in three houses. the writers don’t deserve him

again, the portrait doesn’t do hopes felix justice. his cute flowy ponytail looks AMAZING in the model, esp when he’s moving and it has physics!!!! it’s hopes all the way for this one, both because the hairstyle is wonderful (and EASIER TO DRAW AND NOT SHAPED LIKE A VOLLEYBALL) and also because of how much it illustrates the different path he’s on in this game. he and rodrigue are straight up twinsies and i go insane over it.

this is so fucking difficult. this is so fucking difficult because sylvain’s outfit in hopes is so lovely. i absolutely adore his long scarf with that brick pattern, it’s very “wall of faerghus” and it’s so subtle but ever since i noticed it it’s made me a little crazy. i adore how he’s dressed.

BUT WHAT THE FUCK IS ON HIS HEAD. I KNOW HE HAS DIALOGUE ABOUT IT BEING WINDY AND DUSTY. I UNDERSTAND. BUT WHY DID THEY HAVE TO DO MY MAN LIKE THAT.

it doesn’t even look bad ALL THE TIME!!! there’s a few camera angles where it looks decent, and i like the idea of a pushed back hairstyle on sylvain.

like it CAN look decent!!!! but most of the time it looks stupid and spiky and i hate it. so begrudgingly the three houses design wins even though i adore his hopes outfit

Please tell me your thoughts on the Felix-Leonie ending where they run away to be street performers (clowns) together. I want to know what you think Felix's act is like, and how he'd handle being seen by any of the rest of the cast

okay so my thoughts are that i Adore this ending. as much as i enjoy the angst that comes with his meandering sword endings, this one is just. so incredibly silly. i love it so very much, i think felix loosening up eventually and letting go of his ego enough to accept this type of life is rlly beautiful. makes me wanna write some post-canon chilled out felix

i think his act consists mainly of sword tricks, like the ones flayn had him doing in those supports. chopping up fruit and firewood and such, doing funky tricks. i also imagine he and leonie do some stage combat type thing as well. generally it’s probably gonna revolve around skills he already has from being a fighter, since that’s all he knows.

lowkey, i think felix is too locked in on performing to even notice a familiar face in the crowd unless they acknowledge him directly and like, get his attention. i’m imagining sylvain doing this but it could be anyone fr. and i think he’d try to be all tsundere about it and be like “tch… whatever keeps the money coming” but like in reality he really does love his work and i think he’d find a lot of joy in finding a more peaceful way to keep going after the world doesn’t need his sword anymore.

i’ve been drawing so many black and white or dull colored things for school, so once i got around to drawing this i just went FULL SATURATION. i absolutely love all these outfits i think they would look amazing on literally anyone. i absolutely love drawing flowy billowy tops like this, genuinely every character ever should wear these. for my own health

Ingrid and Claude's support has to be one of my LEAAAST favorites in the game by far. Claude doesn't act like Claude and Ingrid is REALLY bad in it. I know a lot of people aren't big fans of her but I enjoy her as a character (or at least how I would interpret her/fix the writing?) and I feel like she suffers a lot from the writer's and their biases... Ingrid is such a 'what could have been' character to me because!! She could have been an awesome lady knight but the writers made her racist (and barely change at all) and then delegated her to 'the one who nags everyone' so she never actually gets to be a character AHHHHH

the writers fumbled the bag with most of the content in the game that surrounds racism, and ingrid is one of their biggest failures. i fucking despise canon ingrid but i adore fanon ingrid, i think that if she had the arc she deserved i could’ve learned to like her way sooner. i wish that i could’ve appreciated her awesome lady knight self and her backstory with glenn instead of being angry for years about how she does insane racism and never learns anything 💀

no but why was her support chain with claude Like That. it really does her reputation no favors when she is insane to BOTH OF THE POC THAT SHE EVER TALKS TO IN THE GAME. and claude is fucking weird too why is he being misogynistic????? why do i have to watch this????? this is so fucking weird i genuinely hate that whole chain so much— who signed off on this??? these two characters didn’t need a support chain, they’re in entirely different houses they don’t need supports. but they have them and they suck!!! oh well!!!

i sincerely hope fortune’s weave is better at this stuff 😭 if they bungle a character with huge potential again i will be. upset. but also awaiting the fandom’s re-imagining of the character into a cool gay person like how they did with ingrid.
