i wanted to sign up as a writer but i missed it but i've signed up as a pinch hitter idk i'm just kind of sad so can i know how many writer pinch hitters there are and how the writer will be chosen if a drop out happens?
I’m sorry you missed it!! I have not consulted with the other admins so I’m not entirely sure what exactly we’re sharing at the moment but I can tell you that you’re one of the first to sign up! We choose pinch-hitters in order of who signed up first, though I might be able to sort it out so that we prioritize those who haven’t contributed otherwise as it gives more opportunity to new people and reduces the stress and responsibility of others who might already be contibuting a lot. Don’t quote me on that though, it’s not Official. There’s still some stuff we need to discuss as admins pertaining to pinch-hitters and such. We’re glad to have you though, I hope you enjoy if you do get the chance to contribute!!

i'm confused... is the deadline march 1st or can we still work on fics until april 18th/posting date?
you can keep working on your piece up until your posting date! the sooner you have it done the better, obviously (and we really, really, really recommend finishing it ASAP so we’re not hit with a flood of frantic drop-outs the day before posting starts), but as long as you can post it on the day you’re scheduled for, you’re all good :)

i just wanted to know if someone is writing a chaptered-fic do they have to have it all done by the deadline, or just the first chapter?
We do strongly suggest that everyone has finished stories, simply so no one ends up with a fic that never gets finished in the event, but ultimately it’s up to your team to decide. As long as your artist and beta are okay with it being a WIP, then you guys can do whatever works best for you.
We don’t have a lot of hard rules in this event, mostly we trust you guys to work together as teams to make sure everyone ends up happy. We’re here if you need any help or have any questions/concerns, though!
