15: Kiss in the Rain

     Kissing was one thing Natsu Dragneel had never been interested in.

     It was just- pressing your face as close to someone else's until your lips  connected? He  just didn't see the appeal. Though there have been  numerous times where the pink haired  male would have the urge to do  exactly that, if only it meant he could finally understand why  people  enjoyed it so much. 

     And it seemed as if that was one of those days.

     The curiosity began when he saw Bisca and Alzack sneak in a quick  smooch, and then  Laxus and Freed later on. He remembered being told  that kissing was something shared  between those who truly trusted and  cared for one another. The only person Natsu knew whom  trusted him just as much as he did her had to be Lucy.

     A green eyed gaze darted about the guild hall in attempt to find her signature blonde hair and  blue bow only to spot her halfway through the door, rain falling in sheets around her, and by the  time he'd gotten up she was out of sight. Not only a few moments later was he out the door ,  eyes straining to see her retreating figure through the what could only be described as freezing  rain that seemed to be pounding down on his skin, seeing as he'd left his jacket in the guild in  his rush to find her.

                   "Oi, Lucy!"

     As he jogged over Natsu could only hope that his yell had been heard over the rain, and  judging by the way she'd turned around, it had been. 

                 "I wanna try somethin'," 

     he got out before pressing his lips against hers, the rain nothing but mere background noise  now.
