Fairytown is one of the seven provinces of Fairytopia. it is under the fairy guardian Azura's care, and is known to be close to (within walking distance of) the Magic Meadow. Fairytown is surrounded by the Bloom and then by the 'Spooky Wood'. the province, though close to water, is quite far inland

one of fairytown's characteristic elements is the many bluebells, which will be used to set the basic abiotic and biotic elements of this environment

bluebells are often used as an indicator species of ancient woodlands, alongside other species such as wood anemones and primroses

bluebells typically grow in large patches, prefer acidic soils, and found in the woods where oaks are a prominent tree species. it would also make sense for fairytown to be an ancient woodland (with not much reason for there to be deforestation present, or even possible considering the size of the fairies and trees), and for other indicator species to be present (if they also overlap in other environmental factors that bluebells are found in)

so. fairytown would be an ancient, lowland mixed oak and ash woodland. the soil would be acidic and moist but well-drained, with a warm, damp climate - a perpetual, late spring (warm with spring showers)
