ooohh bucktommy and #7 please! 🙏💖
Oooh, that's a fun one! Thank you! 💖
From the Kissing Prompts.
7. To shut them up.
Incredibly enough, it felt like no time at all had changed throughout the 7 years with minimal contact. Tommy had a new boyfriend, and with that came a package of old friends included. Old friends who now were more eager than ever to include him in their outings. It very much felt like old times again.
Except, a few things were different. He hadn't been out back then, and he certainly hadn't been dating his old friend's brother-in-law, either.
The atmosphere was light and happy; the OG 118, as Howie had so fondly called them, plus Evan had been enjoying one drink after another. Stories had been shared, both from Tommy's time on the team and some strange, crazy ones he could only imagine happening in movies in more recent events. Tommy felt pleasantly buzzed, and Evan... Evan was endearingly drunk, nestled onto Tommy's side, fingers splayed over Tommy's thigh under the table and still very present, despite the state he was in. He seemingly took in every word being said from Hen, eyes occasionally glinting as he beamed, recalling the events from his probie years. His features changed into a look of horror when the conversation steered into his more menacing era that involved him stealing a fire engine to hook up with women.
"Whoa! He doesn't need to hear about all that," he protests, and his hands shoots up from underneath the table to cover Tommy's ears as the pilot laughs.
"Mmh. No, I think I wanna hear this one," he muses, capturing Evan's wrist with his own and pressing a swift kiss onto the back of his hand, earning him a pout in the process. One that Tommy finds enought strenght to ignore as he motions for Hen to continue. That's how he learns about his boyfriend getting fired and him self-diagnosing himself as a sex-addict. Evan remains pouting by his side, letting out an occasional huff until Tommy squeezes his hand reassuringly.
"He was such a handful back then, Tommy. Looking at him now, I can't believe he's the same person." Tommy catches the hint of fondness in Howie's tone of voice, and he has no doubt that despite all the teasing, there is definitely some affection there. It warms Tommy's heart to know that his old friend has found the family he's been longing for, and that his boyfriend gets to be in that family, and maybe, by extension, he himself.
Evan's pout warps into a grin, and Tommy recognizes the mischevious glint in his eyes. "Oh, handful! That's what Tommy called me earlier before we--"
"Evan!" Tommy laughs, scandalized, because he knows exactly what moment Evan was referring to, and Hen and Chimney didn't need to know those details.
"I've heard enough," Hen mutters through her amusement before sipping on her drink and Howie grunts in agreement. Evan, however, isn't finished.
"-Or was it mouthful? Wait, no, that was last nigh-- mmhp!"
With a single movement, Tommy tilts Evan's chin up with two of his fingers and presses his lips on his, successfully silencing his boyfriend. He pulls away, earning yet another pout from Evan. Naturally, he can't resist to kiss that one away before pulling away yet again. "Keep that up and there won't be more mouthfuls tonight," he threatens lightly, and turns back to face the other two. Hen is still sipping on her drink as if trying to maintain her amusement and Howie just shakes his head.
"You two are perfect for each other," he sighs in mock exasperation.
"Mmh," Tommy agrees. "We're two handfuls."
Hen snorts out her drink.
