I am so on board with the theory that the *real Shiro* was really in the void with the rest of the team.
Of course he shows up faint and last because he’s not actually near Voltron-- he’s some place across the galaxy in the clutches of the Galra? Shiro (the real one) was probably trying to warn Lance about his clone/ Operation Kuron.
