When does faking it return?
I love that you've come to me for Faking It information.
Sadly it has not been announced yet. My hope is April.
lauren cooper for the character ask meme :)
YAYY THANK YOU!!
Why I like them: I'm a sucker for bitchy characters with a soft side plus she's adorable and I love her storylineWhy I don’t: She can be mean and unapologetic Favorite episode (scene if movie) : hmm I loved the last episode, she was adorable but pretty much any episode from this season has been great!Favorite season/movie: this seasonFavorite line: hmm i liked when she ranted at theo on the phone that was cuteFavorite outfit: the outfit she wore to the club tbhOTP: thaurenBrotp: laurmy/cooperfeldHead Canon: she's secretly happy to have a sister because she hated being an only childUnpopular opinion: idrk if there is one? i think just liking her might be unpopular idk lol A wish: that she'll get more and more comfortable with being intersex and that she'll be able to tell theo and that he'll be amazing and supportive about itAn oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: backwards character development please no5 words to best describe them: adorable, sassy, fashionable, sarcastic, talentedMy nickname for them: coop uwu
But like wouldn't it be awesome if the reason that Theo was acting weird is because he's also intersex and he's afraid of anyone finding out but then Lauren finds out or he tells her and then they confide in each other and fjahkg I JUST NEED THAUREN BEING A SUPER CUTE INTERSEX COUPLE OKA Y
Straight guys who "love" their gay friends are not unprecedented on TV. The Glee guys love(d) Kurt, and they would try to protect him when they could.
But straight guys showing affection to their gay friends is pretty unusual, if not unheard of.
Again, to parallel: Kurt was always "othered" from the Glee guys interactions, because he was different. Even Blaine wasn't really given the same degree of affectionate interaction with the straight guys because he was still "that gay guy who hangs with us". Puck and Finn could hug, but it would be fine because they're totes-mcgotes straight. But Kurt could only get a hug from Finn because they were brothers, otherwise it would be weird.
This is what is extraordinary about Shane and Liam's friendship. Not only is Liam "cool" with dancing with Shane at Homecoming, but when Shane rests his head against Liam, Liam doesn't pull away, or say "no homo" or any of that shit. He literally embraces him and pulls him closer.
Liam is allowed to be outwardly affectionate with Shane because they are friends, and it is perfectly fine to be affectionate towards those you love - platonically, romantically or otherwise.
"What exactly does 'intersex' mean?"
I know you were trying to get the facts straight, Amy... But that REALLY wasn't the time for that question. Seriously.
"Why would I tell anyone my girlfriend's a dude?"
There are TWO things offensive about this:
Trans erasure, outright ignoring that Lauren identifies as female.
Complete lack of willingness to understand what intersex means.
oh no now i'm thinking about stiles finally telling scott that he's in love with him and then scott pulls a karma and says
"i love you too, stiles, more than anyone else on earth... just not like that"
