laios. you help him take off his bulky armor before readying for bed. he raises his arms like a child and beams up at you from where he’s sitting. he always pays you back with a sweet peck though, he calls it the evening tax.
marcille. as much as she enjoys styling her own hair, feeling your fingers comb gently at her head makes her melt. she reads a book while humming in content. afterwards she complains on how sleepy she gets every time you put your hands on her.
chilchuck. recently, he’s been having trouble with falling asleep due to hunger or just plain restlessness. you often stay up with him and talk about mundane things since he’s mentioned once that your voice makes him relaxed. nights are spent with you whispering while he falls asleep to your voice.
senshi. before joining the party, it was mainly you helping him out with the dishwashing and ingredient farming. now, with everyone helping out with the cooking, you’ve taken it upon yourself to organize his luggage. you have a separate pack for spices, raw meat, fragile or delicate ingredients, leftovers, vegetables, kitchenware, and more.
falin. she’s kind of a dunce when it comes to taking care of herself. you go out of your way to help fold her clothes, wash her back, and wipe her face whenever she has crumbs near her mouth. her embarrassed smile and red face would always make you chuckle at her cuteness.

♡Laios Touden - he has no idea what to do because falin was never really the type to get sick and when he got sick she was the one that took care of him so saying hes inexperienced is putting things lightly. He goes to everyone in the party to get any suggestions on how to help you only to try all of them and makes things a little worse. He keeps fidgeting and checking on you because he low-key thinks youre dying when its just a common cold. Eventually he gets senshi and falin or marcelle to take a look at you. Once they do and instruct him on what to do you start to feel a bit better.
♡Marcille Donato - she instantly tried any healing magic she knows but anything on the more serious scale will get her going to falin or making warm soup for you. Shes very attentive while the people she cares about are sick, doing everything she can to help them get better. She will scold you if you try to get up on your own to do litterally anything. Need to use the bathroom? Shes carrying you there and back with her weak little elf arms. (Or at least she tries too)
♡Chilchuck Tims - he lingers in the corner and simply watches while someone else treats you and the amount of grey hairs he will end up with will depend on who is treating you (with senshi and falin giving him almost none!) If he ends up treating your illness himself he either gives you medicine and leaves you to rest or he tells someone else that he think would be better at the task to do it for him
♡Senshi - he makes you the most healthy yet delicious soup or meal to help you get better. He gets you a healer if ones available and uses whatever weird ingredients he needs to make sure youre better. Its best if the whole party is healthy when dungeon exploring. Makes sure you get your rest and keeps checking on you while your sick. Maid senshi frfr
♡Izutsumi - "have you tried getting better?" She doesn't show it but shes definitely at least a little worried and she shows it by sleeping next to you or dropping dead rats by your bed as a present. Laios thinks its cool and definitely encourages it while everyone else heavily disagrees. Curls up on your chest and sleeps or just overall sleeps next to you.
♡Falin Touden - she specializes in healing and support magic so even more difficult illnesses are no big deal for her. Shes very caring while healing you though. She'll hum softly and make sure youre comfortable as she rests her hands on you to cast the needed spells. If for whatever reason she doesnt use magic to heal you instantly shes just as caring when taking care of you.
♡Kabru - he knows everything about the human body to the point that its scary. "Your symptoms definitely sound like appendicitis... youre dying." - kabru with the biggest internal smile youve ever seen because hes happy that he was actually able to identify the issue. After that he instantly actually got you medical care if it was even necessary with whatever sickness you had and comforted you while you were awake. Hes like a single mom to me idfk
♡Mithrun - he had his reason to do anything at all completely consumed and destroyed with the only feeling left in his body being the urge for revenge. If you end up sick near this man you will be left to fend for yourself and die (youll probably need to take care of him tbh). He simply doesn't have the means to take care of anyone or anything, which includes himself.

You could remember Laios once mentioning that dragons mate for life.
It would've been impossible to remember why he brought it up, whether you'd been foolish enough to ask him or if he'd offered the unwanted information in a more general conversation on monster behavior, but the fact stuck. Dragons, like most birds and reptiles, mated for life, and were unlikely to take another partner if their first died. You remembered thinking that it made sense, at the time. Like most monsters in the dungeon, dragons relied on a cycle of reincarnation and didn't age, meaning there was no environmental pressure to reproduce. And, even if it was only on some base, animalistic level, the reincarnation cycle meant that dragons knew their fallen mates would eventually return, even if they would have to wait a few months, a few years, a few decades. If you'd been a kinder person, you might've went so far as to call it romantic.
Dragons mate for life. You guessed that went for Falin too, now - or, the vicious creature that was wearing her face, at least.
You could only be thankful that you didn't have very long left to live.
You could feel it coming. Falin had managed to get you away from the battlefield, but you'd been injured in the fight - whether by her claws or an ally's sword, you couldn't be sure. Blood was rushing out of the deep gash stretching across your chest without reservation, soaking into the leather of your armor and pooling on the stone floor beneath you. You couldn't remember how you got hurt, and you couldn't remember how you'd gotten here, either - to a bell tower tall enough to overlook most of the abandoned city, decorated only with a few colorless feathers and bones you could only hope belonged to yet another wretched creature. Your vision was fogged and dim, your arms too heavy to raise and your legs too numb to move, but you were almost thankful for the paralysis - it kept the worst of the pain at bay. You were thankful to die, too, even if you knew you shouldn't be. There'd be no one to resurrect you, no one to drag your lifeless body back to the surface, but you didn't mind. If you died here, it would mean that you'd never have to find out just how many lives were ended because of a monster with Falin's face, her hands, her magic. If you died here, you'd never have to see the creature she'd become again.
You tried to close your eyes, to let go of the last of your strength before it could be taken from you forcibly, but the sound of talons scraping against stone brought what was left of your conscious back to the surface. With no small amount of effort, you managed to turn your head to the bell tower's largest window - or, more accurately, to Falin, perched on the stone ledge, taking care to tuck her wings against her side in a way that was not totally unsimilar to how she used to take precious seconds to comb her finds through the knots in your hair. Her wounds were still fresh, many of her ivory feather still soaked with red, and she was already looking at you, already smiling so gently that your heart might've beat a little faster, had it been able to beat at all. Despite yourself, you smiled back as you met her eyes. Your smile had never been quite as pretty as hers, of course, but she'd always liked it when you could pretend to believe it was.
Your kept your eyes locked with hers as she approached, the movements of her great body slow, only somewhat labored. The floor of the bell tower shook as she lowered herself to your height, her hand coming down to cup your cheek. You couldn't stop yourself. You leaned into her palm, into her warmth, letting out a rattling exhale as her thumb traced idle patterns into your skin. Maybe she would be kind enough to put you out of your misery a few seconds early, but even if she didn't, you wouldn't mind. So long as you could die in Falin's arms, you'd be happy.
Her lips didn't move. She didn't move. She said nothing, did nothing, and yet, with little more warning than a dull, green glow in the corner of your vision as warning, you felt warmth flood out of her skin and into yours. There was a single bolt of pure, unforgiving agony around the edges of your injury and then, nothing.
For a second, you let yourself believe that you were dead. Falin killed you, and you were dead. You had to be dead.
Your gaze shot back to Falin. Her smile didn't waver, but her hand fell away from your cheek and found your own. Tenderly, she brought to her chest and with her free hand, slid something onto your finger. It took you a moment to recognize the cold burn of chilled metal, the way the ring glinted gold when it caught the light. It was her ring - the ring you'd given her after Marcille's resurrection, the ring you'd fumbled into her palm as you asked her to marry you, then apologized for not having a matching pair.
And then, something hot and thick caught in your throat and you lurched forward, coughing into your hands. By the time you pulled away, your palms were fleshed with bloody tissue and the gash across your chest was gone, replaced with a blank expanse of exposed, in-tact skin. She'd healed you.
She refused to let you die.
She cupped your hand, when she was done, her eyes darting up to meet yours. When she spoke, her voice was hoarse, low, a poor imitation of something wonderful. If you hadn't been so terrified, you might've called it beautiful.

✦ Be prepared for him to burn really fast, so make sure he gets plenty of sunscreen!! It’s always cute to see him walk up to you and ask for help, in which you gladly oblige. You help get those spots he can’t reach, and he does appreciate just how thorough you are.

✦ A picnic on the beach with him is definitely something that happens while you’re there. “You won’t believe what I found!” Laios calls out to you, jogging over to where you sat on your towel. His hands cradled something, and as he stretched his arms out to show you, a smile grew on your lips.
In his hands was an almost perfect conch shell, something he held with pride and excitement. His smile matching yours, he said your name softly. “Do you think if you put it up to your ear, you’d hear the ocean like those stories?”
You shrugged your shoulders, not able to hold back the giggle at his glee. “Only one way to find out, right? Just make sure there’s nothing still living in it.”
Laios still keeps that shell in a safe place, wanting to remember the day you spent together.

✦ Chilchuck plans on staying at the spot you claimed with towels and an umbrella, a drink in hand. He’s definitely enjoying the sight of you in a swimsuit and the breeze ruffling your hair, but he’d never admit that.
✦ You try to pull him towards the water, but you only manage to get his feet wet. Chil tells you this is as far as he’ll go, but that disappointed pout on your face makes his heart race a bit. Ok, fine… Maybe he’ll go up to his knees for you…
✦ Probably spends most of his time drinking and relaxing, a hand behind his head and alcohol in the other. Very dad-like of him, you muse, which causes his face to heat up and grumbles to leave him.

“There, that’s not so bad, is it?” You say as he finds himself in the middle of a tube float, eyes narrowed towards you.
“This makes me feel like a kid.” Chilchuck complains, yet you see him grip onto it tighter as an incoming wave makes an appearance.
You pull it over to you, the inflatable bumping into your stomach as you give him that teasing grin. “Guess you’re stuck with me while we’re out here, huh?”
The half-foot groans, debating on whether or not he’d make it if he tried to swim back to shore right now.
— FALIN:
✦ Wears a light t-shirt and shorts, opting to be comfy! She also has a hat she wears to help keep the sun out of her eyes. If she did plan on swimming, I like to imagine she’d have a swim shirt and a one piece swimsuit!
✦ Like her brother, she was excited to see all the shells and creatures at the beach, bringing you things she found fascinating. You might even find her entranced with a sand dollar and stating how pretty it is.
✦ Walks into the water hand in hand with you, but also really enjoys walking along the sand near the shore. As the sun sets, she intertwines her fingers with yours, leading you along and watching the pinks and blues in the sky reflect on the waves.
✦ Also definitely goes on a picnic with you, the beach making her cheeks even more rosy than usual. You can’t help but tell her how cute she looks in her outfit, her hair loosely blowing in the breeze. Falin would give you a sweet smile, the same one you fell in love with.
✦ Don’t be surprised if she leads you back to the water after you make sure she’s not getting burnt, insisting that she wants to enjoy how cool the waves feel. You’re more than happy to walk out a little deeper with her, noticing how she still keeps your hand in her own.

✦ He and Kuro are so excited to swim, and drag you along to the water as soon as you get there. Of course, Mick is either clinging to you or to Kuro when in the waves, not seeking to really swim on his own.
✦ You definitely enjoy watching them swim and play around more than you’d like to admit, especially with Mick hiding his face and complaining when Kuro decides to shake all the water out of his coat.
✦ Mick really likes finding shells he thinks look neat, and showing them off to you and Kuro proudly. Maybe you even find yourself building a sand castle, with him and his buddy watching closely and moving to help you. He’s in charge of decorating it, while you’re in charge of building it! Kuro helps dig up some of the sand to use.
✦ The three of you end up getting a sweet treat, cooling off in the shade and enjoying the time spent together. Knowing Mickbell, he’s going to lay his head in your lap as he rests after so much activity, looking up at you with that cheeky grin he usually has.
“I could get used to this!” Mickbell sighs, nuzzling into your lap as he makes himself comfortable. Kuro is watching the waves, sitting beside you as the sun begins to fade from the horizon.
“I would’ve thought you’d be ready to go home a lot sooner.” You teased him, brushing his messy bangs out of his face. Scoffing, he made sure you saw as he rolled his eyes.
“If I didn’t have you and Kuro, maybe… But this is something we’ll have to do again. Right, Kuro?” The Kobold nodded, causing a warm grin to spread on your face. He was certainly right about that.

Laios's Party
Laios - He can go 50/50. I think at the start of a relationship he’s really awkward about it (he’s not used to anyone being affectionate with him besides his sister). But as time goes on he starts to really get into it. He just loves finally feeling accepted and cared for it’s just 💕💕 yeah. He’s lovey dovey enough with you in public to make people cringe. And he doesn’t get it when people suggest he should cool it down. Laios’s PDA is never heated or anything. Just cute and romantic. He’s smitten.
Falin - Similar to Laios, but I think she’s more chill with it off the bat. Falin gets hit with that puppy love phase HARD when you first start dating so she’s all shy and her heart’s pounding but she’s only bashful because she’s just so into you!! post-chimera she becomes a lot more assertive and has less regard for others witnessing your PDA. She’s always sitting close to you, holding your hand, resting her head on your shoulder (or letting you rest your head on hers). I also think she has a habit of sneaking up on your and nipping your neck/shoulder.
Marcille - ENJOYS IT. Like…there is not denying it. Marcille loves PDA. You would think your hands are glued together or something my God when you two are walking she’s always holding yours and swinging your arms while humming a little tune AHHHH…of course her cheeks will be stained red though. You ask for a kiss in public and she’s squeaks out an “…okay.” (Then has to hype herself up and is timidly puckering her lips w her eyes squeezed shut comically tight). Anyways. Yeah. She’s a little obsessed with you okay.
Chilchuck - He’s more lowkey and chill about PDA. He admires other couples when he witnesses it “aaah, young love.” But I think Chilchuck is a bit too mature to just. Make out with you in public (now if he’s had a few beers. That’s different. Drunk Chilchuck is a different breed okay.) Chil will give you a goodbye kiss or hold your hand for a second and give you a gentle squeeze, but that’s about it when it comes to public affection. I think he shows his affection fr tho by buying you accessories to wear (scarves, rings, pouches, etc.).
Senshi - He’s not super affectionate in public in general but he doesn’t mind it. Like oh? You wanna give him a little kiss? Sure. That’s fine. But then when he realizes others witnessed it then Senshi gets bashful. Thank god he has that thick ass beard bc I know he’s blushing way too hard. He blushes really hard at any PDA between you two. It’s honestly super cute. :3
Izutsumi - No. Hard pass. Do not. It just makes her incredibly uncomfortable (honestly the idea of affection in general makes her feel weird bc Izu thinks she’s undeserving, but she likes you enough to try to love herself. For you.) I think Izu substitutes PDA with handmade things…like. One day after a little thinking and comparing you guys to other couples she’s a little nervous about you thinking she doesn’t like you/isn’t a good partner. So…you guys have matching necklaces she made instead. It’s just a pretty rock and some feathers tied clumsily in twine but! She’s trying! It’s a step in showing that Izu wants something to link you guys together to others.
Toshiro - (idc that he isn’t in the party anymore he just fits best here ok) Hear me the fuck out. Toshiro Nakamoto likes PDA. BEFORE YOU STOP READING HEAR ME OUT. I think it’s a huge deal w his characterization that Toshiro is really repressed and is learning to voice his needs/concerns/opinions/etc. and I think this also applies to like. Getting in touch with his desires. Toshiro desires to be loved and cared for and well. He enjoys actions of affection from you. They make him happy. And when he finds himself getting embarrassed about it…he thinks on it. Like why should he feel the need to not showcase this? Anyways, yes he enjoys it. But keep it classy 💕 He prefers to save anything more for when you two are alone.
Kabru's Party
Kabru - 50/50 like Laios. But Kabru’s initial dislike for PDA stems from his own insecurities. Like…Kabru is just still processing that he is capable of love and doesn’t have to basically set his own desires and needs to the side and sacrifice for others. After he jumps over that jump it’s smooth sailing though. (Kinda. Every now and then he gets hit w an insecurity episode). Kabru’s like a fantasy prince. He gives chaste kisses to your lips and forehead, kisses your knuckles…yeah. It’s cheesy, but from him it works.!
Holm - Average PDA enjoyer. Keeps it cool and classy in public. He doesn’t initiate a lot besides a gentle kiss to your forehead or patting your shoulder every now and then. He has no qualms with it, Holm’s just a really mature dude (plus with his religion I kinda think he values being respectful). But like. As soon as eyes are off you guys Holm is WAY more touchy and lovey. When mickbell and kuroo stay at his place he’s always a little miffed mainly because his privacy with you is SACRED to this man.
Mickbell - Says he likes PDA. Cannot handle being kissed without practically exploding. He’s so cringe (I love him). Mickbell the embodiment of that “first kiss” vs. “expecting a kiss with tongue” meme. But he’s the first kiss part. He likes to pretend he has any sort of experience (he does not) and any attempt at PDA leave him glowing red but in his mind he’s like heh…I was so cool. (He wasn’t)
Rin - NO. It’s a mix of bashfulness and her fear of doing something crazy via magic because of crazy emotions. But I think she desperately does crave affection. Being able to be treated like a normal girl and love and be loved with no issue. Yeah. You can probably sneak up on her and give her a smooch or something and she’ll be too stunned to react (thank goodness bc the explosion spell building up fizzles out before it can be fully cast)
Golden Kingdom
Thistle - Little pain in the ass he acts like he hates it but in reality he loves displays of affection. Like Thistle gets all red in the face and waves you off but then he’s blushing and kicking his feet like a schoolgirl when you’re out of sight. In my mind Thistle doesn’t do a lot of PDA (if any) but he’s most definitely writing about you in his poem books 💀 there’s likely books dedicated to you…and yes he’d die if you found out.
Yaad - In the most princely sense, yes. Yaad is very sweet. Polite. Demure. He kisses your hand as a greeting and may kiss your cheek if he’s feeling really crazy (omg). But he treats you like the most respectable being on earth. Absolutely adores you. PDA makes him blush and Yaad will have a cute little smile for a while afterwards and be in a good mood (Laios asks you to be affectionate w him particularly when he knows he royally messed up)
Canaries
Pattadol - DO NOT. Like maybe a cheek kiss is fine but Patty is working VERY hard to look like a formidable leader and when you distract her! She can’t! Plus the prisoners immediately start making fun of her! You guys gotta keep it cool around them. She still loves you though.
Lycion - This is weird but Lycion seems like the type of guy who can do sexual stuff in public with no issue but PDA? It makes him choke a bit. Only because he struggles SO much with self image + self worth so you doing an action just to show affection for him that doesn’t give you anything in return makes his heart skip a beat. Like damn? You really love him? That’s crazy. Anyways. It’s cute as fuck.
Fleki - I honestly don’t know what to say other than you could eat her out in front of a crowd and she wouldn’t flinch. She’s soooo touchy and all over you it probably makes people uncomfortable but she doesn’t give a fuck. She clings to you like a Koala with no issue (like she did to otta in that comic YEAH)
Otta - Yes but she’s going to be pretend chaste about it. Like Otta acts all down to earth in public but I can’t decide if it’s because she wants to tease you or pretend like she has any sense of self control. Once you’re desperate enough yeah you two will be making out in public’s
Cithis - Idk if this is against the grain but I think she’s a bit reserved about PDA. Not because of any bashfulness or whatever (she could give less of a fuck) but with her hinted past experiences with people not regarding her personal space and being weird to her. In my mind just. Cithis has some personal boundaries about being touched and stuff she doesn’t want to be crossed. That’s not stopping her from getting you off under the table with her foot though. (Insane.)

Kabru:
-He is a person who doesn't really understand his feelings and WILL put them off to the side because he does not want to confront them
-And I mean he heavily avoids those romantic feelings because he does not want to become attached to someone who either one, won't reciprocate or if something happens to them would cause such heavy devastation to his mind
-Kabru does not know if he wants you, or if he has the urge to kill you for the first couple of weeks of developing romantic feelings. In order for him to have a crush on you he would have to find you highly interesting, which is what he originally thinks, you're just unique that's why he wants to know more.
-He grapples with his feelings, both hating that he barely understands himself and also loving succumbing to these emotions of his.
-After some processing by himself and asking a couple "inconspicuous" questions to some of the members of the party, he realizes that the strange foreign feeling he has is love and fondness for you

-You find out that Kabru likes you when you and him were bashed inside the walls of a castle, and although the party won, the battle did not come without consequence
-You had been stabbed from the back of your head by a Marilith, the sword peaking to your forehead. The serpentine demon with her free arms grabbed your head, throwing you into the wall of the dungeon.
-Kabru's eyes had went cold, almost immediately slaying the beast, cutting into her scaly skin. Again, and again and again.
-And once the creature had been beaten into a pulp, he ran without a word to you despite being called repeatedly by the rest of the team. All he could think about is you and if you would be alright.
-As he scooped you into his arms, away from others' eyes, he was genuinely scared. Scared for you and if you could even be revived, let alone with no catch or consequence.
- "I...can't do this dungeon without you Y/N. I need you..."
-He took a deep breath before letting the words leave his throat, "I love you, Y/N."
-And then you began screaming, holding your head in your hands, and crying out to every God possible to come and save you.
- Holm had activated healing for your party by injecting his magic through the ground of the surrounding area, you had just started healing your stab wound with the common side effect of feeling that exact pain and being conscious right as Kabru began his confession.
-And yes, that would mean that you heard every word of adoration and passion from the once "mysterious non-emotionally vulnerable" Kabru
Shuro:
-I mean this in the nicest way possible, but if you didn't get the slightest hint that this man is head over heels for you...please get checked out
-So extremely obvious everyone has no idea how you didn't understand nor expect it as he is obsessed with you and does not care as much for literally anyone except you.
-Every time he would save you, protect only you, gift something to you, provide and be there on foot for you, you thought he was just being kind out of the goodness of his own heart. And sure that could be a justified reason, honestly.
-The onyx haired samurai only speaks highly of you when it comes to everything and can be found right by your side at all times. He was essentially your own personal guard if you wanted him to be, whenever he was questioned about it he would say that it us just his duty as a warrior to protect.
-But there would be times that were completely unjustifiable that you would just think the samurai was just being silly and making a joke!
-Was it silly when the old party was still together, you came across some furniture you absolutely loved and this man said, "I'll ensure that piece is in in our home once we're together, Y/N."
-Is at your beck and call constantly yet every single time without fail his confession would be interrupted ranging from casual, everyday duties to life or death situations.
-Shuro was praying to every God above for an opportunity to tell you how he felt. Until one day the party was separated into small groups to find different maps to easily found, non-dangerous treasure unlocked with puzzle games within a magical forest.
-Your section of the woods was absolutely beautiful, wisteria trees were spread throughout the landscape, almost making every object have a purple hue to it. The name bestowed upon it was, "The Heart of Eros" and solving the puzzle was a breeze and once you finished you were given a treasure chest that mimicked traditional jewelery boxes and a glass jar, mimicking the human heart with flowers grown all over it.
-It had a mystical, pink glow to it and inside was a scroll that Shuro took out to read for himself, as his eyes laid on the paper, ink began to appear on it before him,
-"Your soul is brave, yet you fear what your heart wants. Take the leap that you need."
-He reached a point where he absolutely could not take it anymore, and this was his final assurance to say what has been on his mind for months.
-He mustered up all of his bravery despite his anxiety making it hard for him to breathe (on the bright side there is no shame to be had as there was no one to hear him). Shuro began his speech but you began to look at him as his dark eyes studied the mysterious scroll, catching your attention completely.
-The sight of your attention being on him made a lump form in the long haired mans' throat, however he persisted, "Y/N, I need you to know that there is something I've been holding in for a while."
-"Shuro are you okay? You look like you have a fever-"
-As much as he enjoyed your silly inquiries, the samurai spared you no time to reply fully and held your hands as he looked at you, "I love you. I-I was never scared to love you, but I was frightened about the thought of letting you know. Your love, your gaze, your smile, your everything means the world to me and I know that I need to spend the rest of my life with you."
Falin:
-Very subtle as although she may not appear it, she is amazing at keeping secrets, especially her own.
-But there is one thing that is critical that differentiates you from the others which is A. How Falin talks about you and B. How touchy she is with you. When the blonde speaks about you, her eyes get a twinkle and would always throw in compliments from how talented you are, how you're so strong, and accidentally would trail off talking about your appearance.
-Now Falin being touchy is not out of the question for many but usually at the campfires, battles and walking she can always be found right next to you
-She likes to bring you small gifts such as a cute, small flower or a pearl from a giant mollusk
-How you find out she is in love with you is through her own journal that she takes with her everywhere. Unfortunately due to your injuries you had to be teleported by Marcille back to the surface of the dungeon, separating you both. Your last words were to Falin who despite her soft voice, was losing her mind as she held your injured head in her hands.
-"I promise I'll meet you soon down here, I promise I won't die again," you replied to her tears, trying to make her laugh despite the metallic taste of blood making it's way on your tongue.
-You were travelling with a party you met on the first floor, they heeded to your terms of wanting to find your friends and as you were in the deeper depths of the dungeon, you encountered a familiar navy blue book with flexible leather twine wrapped around it.
-At first you were cussed out and reprimanded for picking up a random book on the floor of the dungeon but you quickly explained as you opened the first page and gazed upon the beautiful handwriting enscripted in black ink.
-"Property of Falin Touden"
-Although you tried to resist, and she most likely could have it magically locked reading it further, curiosity was eating you up like a hungry goblin. After all, what's the harm in just reading a bit and finding some cool secrets about her.
-So during the campfire, you cleaned off your hands after eating and got to reading which recounted your days of adventure, happily talking about past memories and some sketches of creatures she saw. You chuckled at the sight of them, it was a trait her and her brother carried all too well.
-But...you began to notice you would make so many appearances in these journalings. Even containing a well drawn picture of you on a page about you and Falin's solo mission to a foresty part of the dungeon.
-You felt so overjoyed that your friend Falin thought you were amazing, and had so much awe and respect for you.
"It might be forbidden for party members to feel this way over one another but I cannot stop myself. Them saving me today, it just makes me fall more deeper in love. I don't exactly know where their heart resides or where they may be right now, but I just want them to be mine more and more every single day. I curse myself every hour for not telling Y/N how I felt before they left for the healers above."
-The date sketched at the top proved two things, one it was only two days old meaning that they couldn't have moved extremely far and also that snooping is never too bad of an idea.

✢ Laios would honestly adopt you as his little sibling, treating you akin to Falin (protecting you, rambling to you, doting on you…)
✢ After the party loses Falin, he’d grow very protective of you– not wanting to lose you like his sister
✢ Laios can be a bit dense when it comes to the wonders of puberty/adolescence (it’s been a bit), so he just needs a little time to understand and find a way to support you
✢ I feel that Laios would start to become so protective of you that you might get into a small argument, he’s just worried though! (how could he not?)
✢ However, after watching you fight tooth and nail in the dungeon and talking with him (courtesy of Senshi, Marcille, and Chilchuck bringing you two togther), he’d let up and not worry as much
✢ Laios would ramble about monster facts, formulate new potential recipes, and complain about Marcille’s teachings to you
✢ You’d also help Laios with understanding people better, or at the very least, reading the room (nudging him into the right approach when needed)
✢ All in all, a very supportive relationship!

✢ Regardless, Chilchuck still watches over you from afar, even if he doesn’t want to admit it
✢ He deosn’t want to show his worry or concern for your wellbeing, so if you do something risky or dangerous, half of him wants to help and scold you while the other half stays quiet with restrained fear (even if you’re twice his size)
✢ At some point, this facade cracks and he ends up dumping all of his feelings into the open– about how he thinks you should leave the party and find yourself a stable job uptop, ect…
✢ Chilchuck, just as he is with his daughters, takes care of you in his own ways
✢ He’s almost like a stern father, lecturing you about safety and interpersonal relationships within a party
✢ You just roll your eyes and go along with, knowing he means well and wants the best for you
✢ I feel that he’d be protective but not as protective as Laios and Marcille, he knows when to give you space
✢ Although Chilchuck rarely says it, he does care about you very much and there is a gnawing fear that you’ll be heavily injured (or killed) while venturing with them into the dungeon

✢ Ahh Marcille.. where to begin?
✢ She’d take care of you as if you’re her sibling– gushing and fretting over you
✢ Like she does to Izutsumi, she’d help brush and style your hair, find new clothes that are a perfect match to you, and make sure you’re properly cared for
✢ Like Laios, she’d be super worried about you while venturing into the dungeon
✢ She has her healing magic/spells ready in case you get injured or bruised
✢ With you being a tall-man, Marcille can’t help but feel sad (and the creeping existential crisis) as she watches you grow throughout the journey
✢ However, sometimes it feels as if Marcille is the youngest of the two of you here, whining about how “gross” the recipes are and such
✢ Just as she does for you, you’d help take care of her as well, brushing her hair when she’s tired, feeding her spoonfulls of any dish Senshi makes, and tucking her into bed
✢ Despite Marcille’s clumsiness and quirky behaviors, you still care for her very much! (even if you don’t want to admit it)

✢ He’d call you kid, youngin’, etc… no lie
✢ Senshi is pretty lenient with you but he knows when its time to step in to prevent you from doing anything rash
✢ Just as he does with everyone, he’d make sure you’re fed the necessary nutrients a teen like you needs for growing
✢ If you aren’t a fan of vegetables or fruits, he’d try to come up with a recipe that masks the taste
✢ The way you and Senshi spend time is by cooking together; he’d guide you every step of the way when it comes to harvesting ingredients, prepping them, and then cooking
✢ When you take it upon yourself to cook a dish using ingredients from the dungeon, he’d be very proud!
✢ That said, he’d also teach you the ways of the dungeon and how to preserve certain elements of it to maintain harmony
✢ Senshi is almost like a wise old grandpa to you!

✢ It takes a while for her to come around as her upbringing was very different from yours
✢ You are likely helping her with her hygiene and health since she is unable to properly care for herself or eat her vegetables
✢ Considering the two of you are closer in age, I feel that Izutsumi would eventually find some similarities with you and confide in you about certain things
✢ Eventually, she’d grow comfortable and would tease or bicker with you a bit, getting into harmless fights and challenges (who can hunt down the most monsters, eat the most meat, etc…)
✢ You guys are basically siblings!!

✢ Falin would enjoy gossiping with you from time to time, or just simply chatting with you during night watches and such
✢ If you’re having trouble sleeping, she’d help lull you to sleep through stories or humming tunes from her hometown
✢ Her presence is very comforting and you can always rely on her for support and respite
