I love all these courses, but every semester my schedule has changed at the last minute.... so who knows what fall schedule will really be.....

hey so I dropped a class yesterday online and it successfully dropped and is no longer listed. I know that I will still have to pay 60% of the fees, will the 40% be refunded automatically or do I have to do anything? Also in the course syllabus it said the last day to drop the course without permission from the instructor was the 17th but it dropped successfully so do I still need to get permission??? Would I just email the prof?

It will be refunded automatically, but may take awhile (months). If you want your refund quicker then you’ll need to submit a refund request online.

No you shouldn’t need permission, you still had until Oct 1st midnight to drop the course to get 40% of your money back. If you did it successfully through REM then there’s no need to contact the prof.

I got my tuition/course fees (~$7k for the first semester I’m guessing) how long do I have to pay those? I came on my student record in July and it says payments are due on the 10th of every month. Do I have to pay it now in August or the 10th of whenever the semester starts?

$7k sounds like it’s for the year (F/W) and not just for the Fall semester. To avoid interest your Fall courses tuition and half of your Yearly courses tuition are due by Sept 10. If you applied for OSAP by June 30 then you don’t need to worry about this.

Why is my minimum payment due by date : Aug 10? I thought first half of tuition was due October 10?

Fall courses and half of Yearly courses tuition is due Sept 10. Not sure where Aug 10 is coming from..

Is it too late to drop a F class without receiving a grade? If not, when is? And if yes, what can I do to not have to finish this class I don’t think I’ll pass?

For Fall 2018 it’s not too late to drop the course without recieving a grade (the deadline is Nov 9). For Fall 2017, it is.

Hey I’m not sure what to do right now. I am taking one course in the fall since I dropped another , and still haven’t paid for the course. Is it still possible to apply for osap ?

The last date to submit your OSAP application for Fall courses only was October 16, 2017. The deadline to submit your application for Fall/Winter courses or Winter courses is February 19, 2018.

Last date to drop a Fall course without receiving a grade is November 10, 2017.
