The arches have fallen...

Dr. Venture washes his Walking Eye...
What does it do? I don’t know, walking eye stuff.
Foot orthotics are tailor made shoes and inserts for shoes that help alleviate pressure areas in the foot. Orthopedists come across foot orthotics to be useful in curing many foot and leg conditions, including plantar fasciitis, shin splints, Achilles tendonitis and chondromalacia patella, also in staying away from ulcerations.
Arch support while sleeping?
Anyone have any tips for arch support at home and/or while sleeping? Now that the cold has come, and I can’t exactly wear my Birkenstocks to bed (though I have out of desperation shhh), my feet are starting to ache something fierce, like all the bones are grinding into one another.
I do have new boots and I know that’s contributing to the pain some, for sure, but they have decent support and width for my wide feet, even if they are enclosed and have a bit of a heel...
I need a little more though, and I think that needs to include around the house if I’m to keep on top of this.
For now I’ll just wear my Birks while walking around the house, occasionally in bed, and otherwise massage and use Voltaren on my feet along with my comfy socks and slippers.
I see that there are sleepers for plantar fasciitis that might do the trick (and I could pull warm, fuzzy socks over them, score!)...? Anyone have any experience with them?
Or any other ideas to gain some arch support around the house/while sleeping?
Thanks!
