Just like his Pokémon partner on that faithful mission. The man is burdened by the thought of any disaster on the table ranging from immediate climate collapse to a selfish destruction of the known universe. I mean just the Generations episode alone, with how distraught and broken he looks holding an exhausted Emma in his arms, asking why she's here.. Not knowing what was being done to her... I don't doubt he has nightmares over that.
What else will happen when he's not there to prevent it?
