A random headcanon: Damien plays the violin. He’s been practicing since he was a young boy and it’s a wonderful way for him to de-stress after a hectic day of dealing with his duties as mayor.
General Opinion over said character: I love this man with every fiber of my being, naturally. Since he’s half of Dark, and Dark is my second fav of Mark’s egos, that much alone is obvious. The way I see him is he’s a wonderful brother, a loyal friend, and someone who believes in fairness and justice. This isn’t a man born craving revenge or with hatred running through his veins like ice instead of blood. He’s just a man. Nothing more, nothing less. He didn’t in anyway deserve what Actor did to him. He never wronged him, he was just a good friend in a poorly broken friend group and he suffered for it. I love Damien because in WKM you can see he’s just trying his best to deal with both the death of Actor and William’s anger at Actor. He’s lost, confused, and grieving, even if he may hide it behind a gentlemanly aura. He’s not evil and he’s not the villain. Everything he becomes is a direct result of the Actor betraying him.
