Even if you have zero interest in tabletop stuff I think every fallout fan should read the Winter of Atom sourcebook because the fucking. New settlements? New characters? New everything in there is so good and interesting and does way more with what Fallout 4 puts down than it ever could. There's a hippie commune called Beatsville with a radio host who's literally if you mixed Benny and Three Dog into one guy. It's awesome.

my character from the fallout 2d20 oneshot i played on saturday!! her name is regina cohen, she's a brotherhood of steel scribe and a biomedical researcher with an insane superiority complex. her greatest hits include, but aren't limited to:

making haste to stabilize the dog instead of her actual human teammate

cutting off a dead ghoul's head using her combat knife with the intent to dissect the brain and study it

doing standardized cognitive assessments on everyone in town and concluding we're absolutely fucked

absolutely hating every moment of being on the surface. she finds everything so disgusting

i'm currently workshoping her story to become an npc for when i inevitably run a fallout ttrpg game for my friends LOL
